Come back and talk in 120 days. I am from Belgium and my HTC is from may and according my information- Samsung s3 have a problem with 20 % and for the moment they don't know how too fix it. Just one day your phone starting be slow , my old s2 is better.,

Hi guys, Need your help!
I bought SGS3 box packed just 4 days ago, as of gsmarena, S3 arrived with ICS 4.0.4 pre-installed, isnt it?? But When i unpacked my S3 & checked the OS version, It says 4.1.1??
Can anyone here make me sure that the new stock of SGS3 is coming with 4.1.1 pre-installed or still with 4.0.4?? waiting for the answers!

I'm trying to download the latest firmware update via Samsung Kies through my computer. I repeatedly get "Failed to download" I followed the instructions given, but no luck.
Any advice please?

I read that OTA in the Philippines for 4.1.2 have started. Please post the pda and csc of the firmware version. I got 4.1.2. Poland update. I can't OTA. I hope I can use Odinfor it.Thanks.

i love samsung galaxy s3 this phhone rocks.....every thing is here...though galaxy note 2 i think is much better...but im satistfied on it

To change the volume just use "Root Explorer" to edit "system/etc/default_gain.conf" ! I fixed the sound quality/volume problem with the FM-radio by lowering the volume for the FM-radio headphone out!
I am now back to 4.0.4 because it is faster and more stable than 4.1.2, and I do not really need the "multi view" and there are apps in Google Play that take just as good pictures in low light!
I use the tpu-case "Belkin Grip Sheer Clear" to protect the screen... on my white S3!

nkrgt, 22 Dec 2012it has the most fragile screen and it is ridiculously expen... moreMy dad has a GSIII and I gave him a good leather case. I've seen him drop it thousands of times but it's still in tip-top shape :D Just gotta be careful and I believe screen protectors help, also.

Brilliant phone.Some small hick-ups such as not ringing for no reason and the sms notification does not go away after you read the sms. But all-in-all a good phone.
