Lets start:
Looks and Ergonomics: xperia z looks beautiful and better than s4 to be frank. It is even wafted and dust resistant. But s4 is much smaller and easier to handle. It also has capacitive buttons below the screen, which make full screen to be used. On screen buttons on xperia z make only about 4.7 inch of screen usable. This round I'll call a tie. Both have their advantages.
Screen: xperia z had the worst screen I've seen in my life. It's lifeless with pathetic viewing angles. Really the screen is a bummer on xperia z. The s4 has a class leading screen and xperia z's screen really pales in comparison.
Battery life: s4 clearly wins with almost double on screen time.
Chipset or performance: s4 has cortex a15 cpu which is almost 1.5 times more powerful.
Camera: both have identical sensors. But s4 has a better camera app and Also much more better image processing. So s4 has clearly better photos. Xperia z compresses photos too much.
UI: this is a personal preference. Both ui are very good. Touchwiz is more functional whereas Sony's ui looks better.
So now you see, xperia z really pales in front of s4.

it works so smoothly...have problem of getting heated up....but otherwise an advanced andrid phone..love it!!!!

Under 30k, it has the best cpu, screen, camera, sd card slot, battery life and features. You can't find a single phone better than s4 in even a single category under 30k. I bet it.

I have this device and jst upgraded to the new android 4.4.2, but I missed a check option before installing the upgrade....does anyone know what that check option was for? I'd appreciate your feedback as I don't know if I declined installing other features with the upgrade. Thanks

Bought this beast today & i'm really really happy with my decision,it's really a great buy,just love it's superb camera indoors/outdoors,great battery,blazing fast i'm still on 4.3 haven't updated it although the option is still there but i don't feel like updating & the best thing about this phone is you can move applications to sd card,wow that's what i was missing in all my previous phones,love it,just love it.
