aj, 18 Jul 2009hey king what is this right hand operation and left hand ... moreyes dats wat i think. right handed is right hand operation and left hand is for the opposite, but i doubt any major changes occur in interface while changing the options.

i have a question. why is it that sms messages are being stored automatically on sim card. and i can't move it to my folders. i always receive messages full delete some messages when i only have 150 messags on my phone memory

Is it just coincence or maybe I havent noticed it before but I think since I have upgraded to S5230XEIG2 now when I write a SMS in qwerty keyboard mode it has started suggesting spellings as I type! - is this a new feaure of the firmware or is it the case that I have not noticed it until now?

This phone is poor. As with most Samsung phone signal is pathetic though call quality is ok. Browser is soooooooooo sloowwwwww & so is the touch screen its not very responsive at times & also the phone slows down when memory cards fill up. Email does not work but works fine on my Nokia 6303. Camera is blurred & pretty poor. No stylus which was very annoying cos sometimes you do need it. Why do Samsung phones aswell always have problems with memory cards? With todays advanced technology why cant Samsung let you set a wallpaper & ringtone from the memory card? Why does it have to be copied to the phone its just not practical at all. Poor sorry Sammy

just wanted to share this info:
if u wanted to buy protection for your star, such as leather covers, silicons, etc.. since this is a new phone none of these are available..u might want to try buying one designed for cookie..my office mate bought these and these fit..
i'm buying mine tomorrow..

1.it was released around may 2009.
2.no there is no improvement in music management as u mentioned.
3.there are many music players that can be installed in the set now. goto www.getjar.com and u'll find lots of music players among thousands of softwares.

Updating to a European firmware means Indian Users has voided their warranty. I just called Samsung Support, and asked thm, whether we can update with this firmware. They told that S5233A has no update firmware released till date. He was not even aware of the changes made in the available firmware i.e new menu.
I think we all should roll back to the previous firmware (Indian Version)
