The latest firmware S5230XEIG2 we all updated to is a European firmware update which supports English language. Thats why model no. has changed to S5230 frm S5233A. In India this model is available with the model no.S5233A. That means phones with updated firmware are no more Indian version now. Thats why we are not available to connect through GPRS. We all should have a Indian firmware for our phone...

S5233A Indian Version comes with a stylus holder, cnt believe? I too have the same model, but it hangs all the time, no compartment to keep it inserted. Anyone can post some pics, if any1 gt that model with stylus compartment, wud like to see it.

no ans to my last ques here it is again
i jst wanted knw a few thing abt the firmware which is the hoy topic now
1.when was it realsed
2.is there any improvement in the music management?
a)like can we chg the song order in the playlist
bcoz the in the one out of the box we can't(u shd already knw tht though :P)
b)in music library>all tracks can we go directly to 'S' or 't'like in phonebook,,,,,,,
3)can we install real player on it now,,,,,

newbie, 17 Jul 2009yah its s5233..what the difference of s5230 and s5233??thanks for that. Yes I think thats the difference the inbuilt stylus holder plus in some countries its the same fone but the S5233 is the same as a S5230 just different markets different model number.
I read somewhere that the S5233 has an inbuilt answering machine and also a telephone conversation recorder. Has your S5233 got those features i am wondering?

well i am shocked with this phone. its clever looks cool. admitedly the camera is crap. but i bought the phone for the phone. its clever with its widgets and basically its a tocco less the camera. so its value for money. i would recommend this on pay as you go. if you want a tocco for less that £100 then this is it.

n king i know i m kinda troubling u but the pc studio is not working idk y its says usb modem 1.0 cannot be installed.. the pc studio got installed.. but bcoz of usb modem 1.0 software it is unable to connect to the laptop.. i downloaded some one mentioned abt that uk samsung website. but wen i run that file ..it simply gives some error

hey bro u r rite the phone with the keyboard i sold it for 7500 through ebay..but the problem of contact..is troubling me.. i jus maintained the backup of contacts through jeyo in xml format. i thought i can easily restore it ..

aj, 17 Jul 2009king bro i need to ask one thing from you .. i had htc s710... moreyeah a lot of peolple are reporting that they have not got the extra leather-bound cover. don't know why samsung has stopped shipping them with the new models.
ohh htc s710, the one with slide out qwerty keyboard. hm dat fone is gud. anyway there is no direct way to transfer the backup. one process is sync-ing through Outlook via samsung pc suite. but im not sure of it. its better not to attempt such procedures.
