is this Wi-Fi ready? im quite confused. Because on the side, there's an icon for facebook, google and multiply.. I just want to know if this mobile handset has wi-fi ready feature.. your thoughts??

loudspeaker quality is more in n73, but wen u play both fones together, u can hear star as well. the sound does not get suppressed under the sound of n73.
headfone quality of star is better than n73. the treble, bass clarity, 3D surround effects are much more vibrant in star. use third party headsets n u'll see the differences very clearly.
n73 is not music edition and music edition is not expressmusic, the latter being much better than the former. i agree 5130 expressmusic gives faaar better sound than N73, N81 or N95.
i agree with sunny on that part.
camera: star does'nt have flash so there's no question (as u mentioned) on "flash inadequecy". but pics on star is better than n73. take a picture with both fones in daylight conditions. transfer them to ur pc. zoom them to fullscreen. u'll see n73 pictures are shaky and hazy on the borders but with star, they are clear.

i recommend u go for samsung star. yeah money does matter a lot for people. so no need of putting so much extra money just for a flash. star is much better in the other features.
just another thing. there's a cool way for zooming (since u were interested about this). while viewing net pages, prssing the volume key makes the page zoom in or out. also if u touch the screen at an area for 2 seconds, and then frag ur finger up across the screen, the text automatically zooms. u don't have to go to options for that. i enjoy it a lot !!
all other required features are present in this set.

er... in pakistan are they taking so much money for the mobiles?? i had no idea. star in india is rs.9000 and 5800 is rs.19,000.

Can anyone tell me if this mobile comes with a stylus (the stick used to operate touchscreens)?
Please tell me because i want to buy this mobile and i find it easier using a stylus besides its my first touchscreen so please also tell me the advantages and disadvantages.

yeah u've got a gud question there. i actually tried to judge the video quality on nokia 5530 considering it to be a successor to nokia 5800. my room-mate has the 5800 and somehow videos were more clear on my samsung star than on the 5800. so 5530 must be same.
the videos were grainy and not totally fullscreen but the same videos had superb resolution when i took them via bluetooth on my fone.
even i don't have a technical explanation for this.

u can set wallpapers. only u don't know the process.
again i've said a number of times that music in nokia expressmusic is much better than samsung if u use third party headsets. even i use creative ep-630. its not a big deal. only that very few people actually connect other headsets to their phones. and samsung with its own headset sounds better than headsets that u get with nokia.
a mobile set is just not about music. look at the screen. videos at 30fps in 3 inch screen will be much better than 2 inch screen on 5130. also battery in samsung is much better than nokia.
i also used nokia 5300 xpressmusic and N81 in the past. but wat use is superb music wen u don't have the battery going for at least 3-4 days.
prioritise ur demands n then go for a phone.

YES OF COURSE U CAN CHANGE WALLPAPERS.
actually the confusion is sumwhere else. there are 3 desktops in this fone and people are getting confused as to whether we can set 3 different wallpapers to all of dem.
the answer is YES. download wallpapers from the net. resolution is 240*400. u can download dem from zedge.com or mobile9.com.
just use a software like MS-paint or Irfanview to join the pictures side by side in the order that u want and set it as ur wallpaper. simple.
also u can set one image for the 3 wallpapers (like a scenery or sumthing). its simple!

can i install soft... moreno u can't install softwares n games unless u upgrade the firmware. it will void ur warranty if u do so. well i've not taken that risk. so no softwares are available.
of course u can change the wallpaper. yeah i download lots of wallpapaers from zedge. yeah they are applicable.

1.goto compose sms. type ZERO in capital letters and send it to 111.
2.create another sms, type VL and send it to 52586. this is for Vodafone Live! activation.
try it. hope this helps...

Cons:
Low Speaker Sound
Bad call quality under low tower
No Flash
Picture Editor is Basic
Reading PDF file is a pain in the ass
no call recording facility
