Aszah.....You can use wallpapers. All you have to do is download the desired wallpapers. Open paint and click on the 'Image' option. select 'Attributes'. Here enter 720 and 400. Now all you have to do is click on 'Edit' and 'Paste from'. Select the wallpaper and insert it. Now hit ctrl c to copy the wallpaper and paste it twice in such a way that u have the same wallpaper for the 3 screens. now save this and transfer it to ur cellfone......enjoy

Yes, there is a compartment for the stylus ins... moreDid you forget to mention that the S5233 can record telephone conversations and has a built in telephone answering machine if I have that all correct reading the instruction manual for the S5233 model.

Hey cmon man i really cant hav a phone (any phone) without changing the wallpapers(megan fox, sonam kapoor etc..) everyday..

guyz dont buy this crap for 10k is good for nothing china mobile quality,,,wait for nokia 5530 xm u even cant put single wallpaper in this phone no option to keep a picture to wallpaper u have to do lenghty process for that then also dont set i sold for 7500 and purchased nokia5130 fablus sound xlnt mobile listen sound in earphone creative ep630 then tell ,,,,,,,,,,nothing like this sound you ever heard in mobile ,,,,,,

My friend has the Nokia 5800 Express music, it delivers a decent performance in terms of corporate use and for music as well, but the she says that the touch sensor of 5800 is good but not up to mark and navigation is somewhat sluggish as sometimes one has to press the screen, the mobile Touch-screen should be ultra-sensitive.
I have just seen the advertisement in a news paper regarding launching of the Samsung STAR and it appears that Samsung has almost same features the main attraction being the 3 inch 16X9 screen.
The Nokia 5800 was launched in Pakistan probably in last week of December 2008, and Samsung STAR is the most recent launched touch screen phone.
I am least bothered about GPRS or NET browsing on mobile phones as no matter how big is the mobile phone screen it remains small for net-surfing and not comfortable. Every time one has to zoom in a particular segment, this is annoying. In my humble view for portable internet browsing mini lap tops are far better and logical choice.
I only require a decent phone camera say up to 3 MP should be more than sufficient with good sound quality and good MP4 video play-back.
Given the above could someone advise which is the better phone-------the new Samsung STAR-------or Nokia 5800. There is a difference of PAK Rupees 10,ooo/- between the two handsets, The New Samsung STAR is available in Pakistan for Rs 15,000/- and Nokia-5800 Express music for Pak-Rs 25,000/-. However, the price difference is not a issue for us but it does count.
The handset should have following basic features
• The phone should have a good sound quality with clear treble levels
• Multimedia options such as MP4 video, good video camera
• Ear piece voice / conversation clarity
• Touch screen sensitivity
• Ease of Fast Text Messaging
• Good screen graphics, resolution and screen brightness /contrast
• Good-Signal strength in closed enclosures

I have N73 and one of friend is using Samsung star. I have compared the image quality. N73 is far better. Samsung star produce images with lees details and more noise than Nokia N73. The flash performance is also inadequate. The sound quality of N73 in both loudspeaker and headphone is far better than Samsung star. I am not saying that star is a bad phone. But it is not better than N73.

I am planning to purchase this beauty... Just having a small doubt about its battery backup, can anyone please let me know how much powerful its battery is as company is quoting 10hrs, but how much it is giving in reality?? Please let me know...

hi king! thanks for your help as always!!! nwei does this phone have stylus in the box (s5233) coz i was not able to get it... nwei a freind said that he called me but i didnt receive any calls from him, where can i set call settings? and sillyt question but, how can i lock the phone? i didnt read the user guide yet:-)... thanks

Yes, there is a compartment for the stylus inside the s5233 (the one that is currently being sold in India). You will be able to see it if u open the mobile (i recommend that u dont try it). But the problem is the outer casing doesn't have a slot to admit the stylus into the compartment... i wonder why samsung did that!
And i think GT S5233 and the Tocco Lite are one and the same...The only difference being that one has 50 MB internal memory and the other 100 MB (I'm not sure about this point, though)

1) The nokia 5530 is a smartphone, samsung s5233 is not.
2) You said "in the nokia model. visibility of movies or videos on nokia shall not be as crisp and crystal clear as in samsung".. i dont understand why... Agreed that Real player is not excellent. But the nokia 5530 has a smaller screen and higher resolution. that should make it more clear and more crisp, right?
3) And you also forgot to mention the biggest credit of 5530- WiFi. samsung s5233 doesn't have that.
I agree with you on the remaining points...The Nokia 5530 is definitely over-priced. But since it will be out in the Diwali period, you can expect some attractive discounts...

i just wonder what is the difference between the star(gt-s5233) and tocco lite(gt-s5230)
is there really a compartment for the stylus as the preview figured out.

--Urgent help--
I just bought the phone a couple days back, and i have a problem. I cant seem to get my samsung star to connect to my PC/laptop (fyi, i've tried it on 3 laptops-vaio,acer,panasonic with vista and xp)and the cd driver that i got still cant be used.
when i use the Samsung PC New Studio software, it searched my phone, but it came back as "unrecognized phone". I need the help please. I'm based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Thank You all very much.
Just for info, i've used the phone just for this couple of days, and i'm really satisfied (besides i cant connect to a computer)

well u do get the "stylus" (thats the "stick" thing) in the box with the phone but there is no stylus compartment on the phone meaning that u won't need it at all.
