i know what u mean..it is a matter having the correct version boot loaded onto ur phone..which will have the UI updated in tabs as u have explained.

My friend bought a samsung star a week after i got mine.. her menu is different to mine though..
when you go into her menu, there are 2 tabs at the top. one is for the normal samsung star menu, the other is for a 3 scrollable screen menu with all her applications on these 3 scrollable screens (kind of like the home page with the widgets). is this software that has been downloaded onto her phone or is it a setting that i could change on my phone so my menu looks the same as hers?

nancy, 13 Jan 2010i bought this phone last week & it's gr8 but i have one... moreso far no, u can however customize the theme by changing the background.
Also, u can get rid of the red and green colours (default themes) by tweaking ur default SYS FS settings.
