did you just say you shelled out 12000 bucks for this?
You could have got it for approx. 9800 bucks form buysamsungmobile.com, shipping and a BT headset was also free as a limited period offer.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to buying this, any cons or issues I might need to know about?

APP, 15 Jun 2009I have used the samsung star,with rotaton the normal keypad... morethe phone is awesome i have one and its fab does everything i need it to do !

I have used the samsung star,with rotaton the normal keypad turns into an QWERTY key pad... reading the reviews it seems that this doesnot happen with the Star 3G.. is it so...? and how about PDF format books... how fast is it... comparable to a windows 6.1 mobile...?

sound from speaker is loud , easy to use interface ... alpha keyboard is disgusting but easy to type faster than qwerty one.
5603 looks beautiful and square screen easy to use than the 5233 rectangular one.

aadi, 06 Jun 2009did anyone knw how to put an exact wallpaper of clickd imageWall paper can be set of your choice.go to the image you want to set and in the options select to set as wallpaper.
in the window that opens adjust your image to be inside the box it displays.like your image is in the center of the box.and then choose set.it will set your image as wallpaper in the center screen and other screens as black
