hi there, for those people who are buying Samsung Wave at Black Market (basically no Samsung Warranty of any kind), you might want to check this site first before buying your unit to differentiate the Pre-Marketing units from Marketing units..

My cheque cleared today from selling my last mobiles so off I went to carfone. I knew last Friday they had six waves in stock but today they had none . I have ordered one and will arrive Tuesday . So its still yet another wait till I get one .

I have activated T9 and word suggestions on wave come up on a black bar,,i put in the words "i went to the hospital" and it got hospital in 5 letters..Hope thats some help..

I got plenty of questions in my mind right now.
I'll just post them one by one.
Will the battery lasts as long if we use a theme other than that with a dominant black color? I've read it somewhere that black consumes less power.

When you enter a word, how do you change to different word? On my N86, you press the * button. On the desire, alternative words appear on screen (which seems like a really good method to me).
I've heard the Wave performs badly here...

Tom, 10 Jun 2010Can you get a normal phone keypad for messaging instead of ... moreBecause as usual in portrait mode qwerty can be a little cramped i am using the normal fone keypad i.e. keys 0123456789 with abc on key 2 def on key 3 etc..I think thats what you mean...The trouble is in samsung the space bar is on the hash key whereas symbian ive used for years is on the 0 key but i will get used to it..The space bar is the T9 activation on wave or long hold brings up the 0 obviously .

Is the price of this phone here in the philippines below 20k? My oh my. I'm shocked. I was thinking the price is in the line of 25k to 30k. I'm definitely getting one. I'll wait 3 months to see if any problem crops up.
