How long for ...... moreuntil the n8? for your information the n8 has the xenon flash.. and it is always an issue with nokia phones with xenon to have low battery power due the battery hog flash in it along with the 3g, wifi, camera, music app it self.

I asked Planet Gadget at V-Mall greenhills if they have stock of Samsung Wave.. And they said they don't. So i've tried their demo unit.. So as usual, i've enjoyed using it.. I asked again if when will they have the stocks, they said that they don't know.. I asked again when will they sell it with warranty and how much, this part is where i was surprised, they said that they will sell it with warranty around August and the price is, PHP 26k..
Whoa..
Now at 18.8k without warranty..
Almost 7K difference for just a warranty?

Great! It's now a 9.0! This I think is the best phone ever! Kudos Samsung! I asked around if the phone is already out here in the Philippines because I'm itching to get one, but apparently most shops still have no idea when it will be released. There is only one shop I know which has the phone but apparently, some lucky guy bought the last unit! I hope they will start shipping the units soon so everybody can have the taste of the Wave! Bada is continuously expanding and if everyone will support the Wave, the app store will surely get even with the android and iphone. Go Wave! Let's all support this new helluva gadget!

Right this Wave gets better all the time,,I spent a while on zedge trying to get my wallpapers at wave resolution but a lot have still not been upgraded (which is fair i think i should get off my backside and get learning more about computing and do something myself but its complex)...Now the pinch zoom works in wallpapers so i have now found out so downloaded all my n97/5800/touch pro/htc pulse wallpapers which i have collected to the Samsung WAve.Now what i was doing was pressing SET for the wallpapers and about 80% othe screen was filled,,if you pinch zoom and move the wallpaper round to suite THEN press SET it stays like that...This may be allready be available in samsung fones but to find this out for myself has just saved so much trouble,, firstly because i can use my wallpapers i have put hours into finding and saves me trailing thru Zedge day after day looking and waiting to replace my fave wallpapers..
After yesterdays battery test i posted have gone back to 2g only and using 3g when needed..wifi when needed and set backlight to level 5 ..I spent quite a few hours on Wave overnight messing about and this morning its still on full bars of battery ..I think a big heavy user will get the full day out of the Wave..I said i would get down to using this as my day to day fone but to busy fiddling with it to care at moment...

Need to check with you about the Wave's memory card, i came to know from few reviews that wave got VIRUS in its memory card, is it so..????!!!!!

Samsung, 10 Jun 2010Yes you can do backup of your sms on memory card on WaveGo to Messages. Touch the middle option tab . the last option on the left menu is to back up text messages

There will be always better phones. To sum it up after a week of usage, Wave is very good phone today for the money.

So this phone is the new battery champion. How long for ...until the N8 of course, then no more. The only thing I don't like is the horrible standard Android shell theme. There are just some things which aren't quite as mature in the Menu structure UI.
Android is doing great things though. But I just prefer the symbian edge over features & little bits of good design & layout & options that symbian give you. UI of S^3 will shake off Android off of the boat. Its high on power requirements. FACT really... but android does have some elgance & style to the touch are. Here where they currently led the competition.
But Symbian also bringing new UI feature android can't do luke screenplay, transparency,multiple surface layers all visual at the same time. Android is quite as rounded yet as a fully fledged OS rather an internet platform. But it's getting there.

Wave can contain 1300 text messages and has 500MB for multimedia messages, what else do you need?!? :D

Actually the whole of the Nokia N series can save every thing to the memory card ! That control is what makes the Symbian OS so powerfull and popular. To save the sms's you must know where they are located on your phone's memory. I must know the exact folder.

all symbian phones from nokia can save sms to memory card.i tried this in all models i get from nokia so what about wave can it do this or what?and how many msg can it save on phone?

So there is at least a phone that can do that ...
