I dont mind though coz i feel, after using it for a couple of days, that the unit is in top notch condition. Should you buy yours, do not download anything yet in the application store coz some bugs have to be fixed first. I downloaded ebooks and some games and to my surprise, texts and images in tha said downloadables also appeared in the media browser which is kinda pain in the neck.. God bless!

          Hi,

My wave is arriving today and I live in the US. Just curious, does the app store work yet for anyone living in the US who has this phone. Thanks.

right tried headfone jack using samsung ones in the box and the last part is hard to push in,,i had been using my usual headfones since got wave and had no problems..this is the first time ive used pinch zoom thingy it works brilliantly in web browser and using the white on black option in web browser too.have not tried this yet but read somewhere were if you press menu button and keylock button at same time it does screen capture..The wave is showing up my older videos in pixelation on high res screen and any good black towards the edge of screen blend in with the wave itself sometimes so you cannot tell where screen ends?? cool...

Their is this app called iAspirin which is somekind of meditation thing in bada app store..have not tried much just been testing it with vids and music,,my goodness concert setting with rock setting is just like being in a nightclub..

Their proximity sensor acts accuratly and earpiece is good sounding..cant say much else yet too busy messing about with this ultra high spec machine but have not found any lag yet and my 16GBHC card is full and in your video section from file manager you get a thumbnail not of the start of the video but a snippet of somewhere in the video..I have had a quick go of i-phone in a store but the touchscreen is just unbelievable..right i am off and sometime will get to know rest of this machine..

Just spent 20 minutes playing with a Wave (thanks to Nick@ Vodafone Oxford) and have to say, very impressed! 1) Excellent design and ergonomics. 2) Screen is to die for. (Did not try outside.) 3) Samsung have put a lot of effort into the usability of Bada. It almost seems like a polished version of Android. 4) Everything happens instantly, this is a fast phone. The camera is almost like a stand alone. 5) Build quality is excellent - like most Samsung phones. 6) Photo viewer is also well designed, with convenient file upload buttons. 7) Now this may sound minor, but a nice surprise was the browser - pretty much like iPhone Safari, but much quicker - and there is even a Brightness control right there on the screen, no delving through Prefs menus. Nice! Now the downside: Is investing in a Bada OS phone wise with Android proving so popular? Why don't Samsung simply skin Android? There are so many similarities between Bada and Android in this phone that I can only think Samsung are doing this to give their designers somewhere to play without the constraints of Android, but is that fair to consumers who may end up with a sexy but appless phone in a year from now?

Either way, the Wave is a delight to use and if the next iPhone isn't up to much, it is going to be this, the HTC Desire or the new Moto with Xenon announced recently for Europe.

Since day one all of my handsets was Samsung(except first Ericsson T20)and and all of those with cams had same problem that forced me to try different ways for inside and or under multiple light sources.
currently my old U900 is shooting exceptional pictures compare to other 5MP lads.
just try different AWB,notice:in some places for example Incandescent or Fluorescent necessarily don't give you best light or color quality under respective light sources instead you may find cloudy or daylight AWB more suitable.
i suggest to put Saturation on maximum(which is 2 level)and may find Sharpness and Contrast setting very useful(depend on how much sharpness and contrast u like)Wide Dynamic Range can improve details in Black or dark area of the photos and last but not least is Exposure Level which i enjoyed using it for undeniable high quality pics long time now.
if you have any interest to see how mentioned setting can improve photo quality(inside and out)please inform me.

I think the metals inside are still, uuhhmm, virgin? And then after breaking something there like a temporary lock or plastic things or a metal thing, the next time i've put a head phone jack, it go through easily, but doesn't have the feeling of loose or something like that..

I had the experience that I can't use the 3.5MM jack.
I tried to replace but nobody responded me since I ordered online.

I went to Samsung Mobile for service. At first he, noticed same problem, a minute later. It was all ok.

Just PRESS the jack as hard as you can till the tip touches to the bottom.

He said the hole was so tight since it's new.
Actually it's pay off, the audio quality, bass and loudness are very superior. Plus the music player is great.

                              Hope it helps.

                              God bless and enjoy.

                              Inform us the result.

                                        Hi,

It takes amazing photos in daylight, but the indoors quality is terrible. I mean really terrible. Is any of you experiencing this as well?
