First confirm that u got the original Wave S8500 alias Wave I. In India Wave I has been discontinued several months back.
If u got original untampered Wave I, it should play most of the videos with below formats/containers out of the box quite efficiently (given the resolution is

I was trying to download a 1GB MP4 video using my phone but I couldn't even if I have a 16GB memory card. Any work-around? Is there some settings I need to adjust? Thanks!

hey 1.2 update is available now in pakistan for s8500 . but i cannot update because kies says insufficient disk space atleast 3000mb required .
using 8gb srdxc card or 2 gb or no card at all same errormessage
my windowsxp sp3 3harddisk partions all having just 2 gb free.
help me please

An operating system that was introduced last year and has so few drawbacks, not to mention that it's backed up by a company with vast resources and expertise? My friend, only time will tell whether Bada survives or not and if Samsung continues to support it, you will be seeing it for many years. Now as to why Wave is constantly in GSMArena's top ranks, let me give you some facts:
For about 270€(current retail price in Athens, Greece) you buy a top quality phone with a brilliant 3.3 inch screen, a Hummingbird SoC (probably last year's best), a goog 5MP camera with full features AND flash, a very good HD recorder, an excellent music player, and a rock-solid, lightning-fast OS which treats the battery gently by the way. You get 2 days with moderate to heavy usage and FOUR days with light usage even if the phone stays on 24/7. Now give me a phone that beats Wave in ALL the above-mentioned aspects...I'm afraid there is NONE for now.
You should get yourself one mate, you won't regret it unless you are a die-hard fanatic.

AnonD-382, 17 May 2011i m really v. sorry i forgot to mention tht earlier ...yes ... morewell it's very hard to get position from inside room. as i also don't get position. but when am in balcony or on the roof i get position. it takes time as mine take say less than a min or so. it depends. but when am in move with car get my positon quickly. wave can't get position like apple, android & nokia's ovi map did, sp when u remain inside. try on the move hope u'll get ur position...
