Have this phone from the beginning, real great no pb at all.
Except in loud place sound from video can be distorted.
Very happy with the phone.
Waiting for Samsung Galaxy 2 mini to see if i change. Love new phones.

Have that beauty about 2 months (before used only Nokia)...i was absolutely satisfied with phone, but then one day ERROR!!!!. Warning message tell me that there is no enough memory(RAM)to open application (text message). Looking for help on the web, and realized that i am not the only one with that problem, and that there is no solution for that problem...OMG, OMG What now?...can't read messages!!!. OK...the solution is removing battery and sim card out of the phone. What happen with phone in that moment i don't know, but the phone is working well now... Hope it will never happen again.

i want to upgrade my firmware in samsung s8500 but when i am doing it, it says "internet is not connected" well it is connected on both my PC and mobile..... HELP ME PLEASE

Sid,i've tested personally s8500 wave with c7;both are very well build with metal elements,2 beauty/s but at software wave is above c7 and what amazed me is the camera of s8500 witch is better not equal but better then c7.i recommend you samsung s8500 wave over c6-01.c7 oe wave 2.

In terms of HD videos, is the Wave capable of displaying full HD videos (1080) or just normal HD (720)?

saurabh , 13 May 2011have it for nearly one year now .... quite satisfied with t... moreI have Wave also, and this phone also turns itself off when not activity,mainly late P.M.Also in my pocket.Annoying! Turn back on ,asks for PIN again.My theory is,after much thought is that the main BACK button is very prominent,(protrudes)too high causing accidental screen activation when pushed or rubbed as when in pocket.If you press that BACK button twice the screen turns on! (not explained in manual)And that is not a good thing! Since fitting a hard leather case,it has not reocurred Hope this helps.

i want to update firmware of my Samsung wave s8500.... while updating it says "The internet is not connected" "do you want to retry" and i clicked on yes but it keeps on repeating this... PLEASE HELP ME..... what should i do?

sid, 13 May 2011which 1 would u prefer n why?? nokia C6-01 or wave?????? samsung wave is far better then nokia c6-01 and even nokia c6-01 camera is 8 megapixel but it is useless becaus that is fixedfocus

Of course buddy WAVE-II is ur buddy....the finish, the camera quality, the overall build easily outshine the so called competitor.....Cheers go for it. I will be buying this really soon....just waiting for Bada 2.0 update to cash in quickly.........
