seb, 26 May 2010can you check once more if you still have wave in your hand... moresorry man, i made a mistake with Galaxy S. I think only windows mobile and android have smart dialing. Poor Wave doesn't have it.

so it seems there is no 'smart dial' by the names, only by numbers...

scoopyscoopy, 25 May 2010what kind of smart dial you meant? it can do both names and... moreyes, I meant this kind of 'smart dial' like windows mobile phone, or android devices like HTC DESIRE (just directly from a keypad you dial the name, like you would start to write this name as SMS text).
i really doubt if (among all smartphones) only iphone doesn't have a 'smart dial' as defined above. just for example : what about N97mini, or other Symbian 5th edition? smart dial is not available there...

[deleted post]I don't think a multinational company such as Samsung would be racist by not distributing the Wave to the Middle East. What would they get for being racist? In business, money talks louder than anything else.
I'm sure Samsung has its reason for not distributing it to the Middle East now.
Don't be too naive to create any racial issue here.

[deleted post]I dont understand how they are racist if they dont wanna release a phone in a certain area, im sure later they might do but ther gonna aim their main launch at their biggest market europe. Anyway if you want the phone so bad i'm sure its not that difficult to order it to kuwait

Misleading review almost abandon my little Wave. He must be iSheep instead of a good reviewer.

I was very disappointe... moreThanks Sie, yea looks like ill be getting this on orange then as ther offers are the best at the mo and if the modifications are that bad i can always wait for some1 to upload the generic os, still have the stupid logo tho. my current contract runs out in like a month so i might wait a week or two just to see if any other deals come out (especially from o2). That techradar "Preview" not review is thw most Biased preview I have ever read in my life. I think he played withthe phone for 5 mins at based on those thing he was complaining. I mean he does not even know how to remove home screen!!! He should have wacthed youtube first so he would have gotten the idea. Not that it's that hard. He was just closed minded.
and why should he post a "Preview" when the phone is already out and name it "Review" when cleary he was using the FEB 13 prototype unit.
Again, most Biased "preview" ever. Techradar must be working for apple

borja, 25 May 2010guys, i'm getting a phone on my birthday, my uncle had 2 ch... morego for the wave.it has better screen quality,plays divx movies,good muisic player,captive touch screen and doesnt have symbian which is quite a boring OS
