You don't know what you're missing. :-)
Flash it to bada 2.0 manually. It's complicated (a little) and risky but it's worth the risk.
For UK FW:

Register first to download the FW, and just google the flashing tutorial (instructions).
Do some research first and if you're up to it, go flash your phone.

Well it looks like Bada is dead,,see GSMArena homepage on Tizen due early next year..
What a waste of effort and time it takes a lot of engineering time to build a new O/S.I loved the s8500 it was one of the top smartfones 2 years ago with best screen ever built 1GHz proccessor and so on..I still remember vividly charging it for first time and the big green battery icon glowing with colour,,i knew the the screen was something special.

Bada 1.2 had an option of synchronizing facebook friends with phone contacts. Is there any kind of option like that in bada 2.0?
Have been searching for it since bada 2.0 came... But yet to find out... Please help guys..

can it play YouTube videos in hq using 3g?
or only in wifi (as I've discovered)? this is my main problem with wave 2. currently still on bada 1.2 but am I right in thinking this limitation remains in bada 2.0?

raki, 08 Aug 2012How to upgrade my samsung wave I to anaroid 4.0dont think you can do that. I've been looking around and there've been a few projects to port android on wave, but they all seem to be abandoned. The best I've found is a Gingerbread port from last year (never finished, modem and calls not working) and a more recent ICS port (still unfinished, the last post from the developer was in april 2012).
