hi, I flashed my mobile with bada 1.2 using multi loader.. Now can i get the bada 1.2 official update?
Also can i degrade my os from 1.2 to 1.02?
pls suggest????

I don't know if you guys have tried this or not, but my battery improved when I deactivated Push Messaging and stopped it from Always loading. It was activated by default but I didn't bother changing the settings till yesterday. Maybe it's a fluke however, you can still give it a try if you haven't done so.
Before having done this, my battery goes down 1 per cent right off the bat after unplugging my Wave from the charger (when on standby and all I do is just check the battery level). And it approximately continues to drop every 5 or so minutes. Now it remains unchanged when on idle.

i got my samsung wave s8500 5 days ago it is working good but i have a problem i cannot use youtube, facebook icon. when i try to log in facebook it say HTTP TIMEOUT.... please help

Just got a wave s8500. Is it normal that the battery got hot when using it continously especially during internet connections? Will it have no bad effects on the other components of the phone or that is any indication of a faulty battery? So thankful that i got one of the last stocks out here.

@soreaxx although samsung is not the best in supporting their phones but still only dump brainless people hates samsung .
this forum is for samsung wave not BB torch so if any one owns bb please go and chat in your forum.
I now understand why some people daily attacking the wave it is because they only have a chatting phones.
wave is a smart phone only android and iOS users can give their opinion here.

[deleted post]read the older posts to solve your phone issues ,most of the issues you've mentioned are user related.
like you can save your sms in the memory card so you will have a bigger space for your new sms.
battery back up of the samsung wave is one of the best in the smart phones world ,if this is not the case with you ,you need to take your phone to the service centre.
the browser supports flashlite 3.1 (flash 9 )but unfortunately most of video sharing websites changed to flash 10 ,flashlite 4 is coming to bada 2.0
you are the first person that complain about the font size which nor small neither big .

[deleted post]Firstly I already have a Wave, a Samsung Omnia HD and a Nokia N95 and for me the Wave is better than all of them put together. Sure its not perfect but what phone is? If ur so bitter just sell it and get another phone and move on! Ur remarks are pathetic! Honestly you sound like a school kid who's been grounded by their mom! I don't have a problem with people who criticise that's fine u are entitled to ur opinion but if u don't like it go and find a second hand Nokia 3310 and be done with it but don't insult people who actually like the phone because thank god they don't all think like u do!

i had this great mobile end of july..
end of august i love my wave
end of november i still love my wave
but end of december..........
the phone is run out breath.........
no good apps,,n a lot of complain......
why is that samsung..........

I have been using Wave for last 5-6 months, initially i was a great advocate of the phone, but recently this phone is bugging me a lot.
few are:
very low memory space for sms.
out of memory problem in now cropping up even with just 2-3 apps in background.
Font size too big.
poor battery backup.
Cant download anything from the browser.
Doesnt support flash.
Other cheaper phones takes just 10-15 sec to lock GPS position and this shitty phone uses 2-3 mins.
Its alarm features has ditched me several times, now i use my 6 yr nokia for that purpose.
I feel cheated ... when all these features are available in any 12-13K phone available in market.
What will you do with all great features when the basic features are shitty.

Ya wave has small share of games.
