Hi Frenz, pls clear me this problems...
It Failed after trying to upgrade 1.0.2 thru kies, the service center Fixed this Bug and upgaded to latest Firmware and this F/W Got many Bugs and issues...
1.There is No call Recording,
2.The Internet Browsing Speed thru Dolphin Browser Become Dead Slow with long time to get pages-Irritating,(Rapid Speed in Bada 1.0)
3.Sometimes the Incoming Call Ringing alert Just Sounds with a small opening Ring and if we think its a Missed call, after taking out from Pouch its still a Incoming call with Not Full ring alert,
4.After Taking photos, if we click to view the taken picture in camera mode, it takes around 20 seconds to open the picture to view from the folder(this is done in Microseconds in Bada 1.0),
5.The most Hell thing is when connected to the system thru Micro-USB,when Instaling apps thru KIES, after 30 - 40 minutes the System Turn-off automatically(Like Power failure shutdown while running),
Much Disappointed after the New F/W upgrade,
***Could i Roll back to Bada 1.0.........?!!?!
Pls Help to Fix these Issues...

Sachin, 19 Dec 2010Hi, if you change PW in PC for any mails, then you need to ... morei changed it in my accounts and still nothing.deleted the account and re-installed it and even changed the PW in palringo account.still keeps saying PW or ID not valid so now i cant get mail and palringo doesnt work either.thinkin of a hard reset but not sure if that will help either cos i changed my facebook PW and the phone accepted it.seems to be thing between the phone and messenger/hotmail.still...maybe a hard reset might fix it but id rather try something else first.if facebook works why not mail.had tpo change all my PW´s cos i got a warning notice that a hacker was trying to access my accounts.now im without mail and IM in my phone.

cooza, 19 Dec 2010after changing my password in my messenger/e-mail account m... moreHi, if you change PW in PC for any mails, then you need to change it in wave also. go to Myaccount & change it. You will start getting mails on wave.

Hey Guys!! Please Can Any one tell me What is life of battery of samsung wave?because i heard thats its maximum is 7-8 hours or MAX 1 day after that battary goes down .. is it true??Please tell me their review who have this phone...help..

wavw is better than wave8530.....just the screen is .4 inch big...its not a big difference..all though wave is made by super amoled screen....where wave2 made by is lcd screen...i'm using wave last 6months...no hanging or no lagging at all...its the best phone in the world...rocks

Hi frnds......i have got "THE WAVE STORY" for all of you wavers.....
okay....let's start from begining....
Samsung developed a new operating system(Bada) and want to launch that in a market where other OS kings are ruling(Android, IPhone OS etc). For creating an impact samsung need to produce a high end device which can attract people easily and this causes the evolution of Wave. An awesome device that has all the latest specifications(U all know them).
So......Wave arrived in the market, we all just went crazy for that and its sells crosses 2 million in one month....but what the bad news is....samsung uses its great innovative SUPER AMOLED screen in wave which is really costly and to promote BADA they can't make the prices of wave too high. The main reason behind the non availability of Wave is this screen.
Guys you can have a idea by comparing Samsung wave and Galaxy S. Both have almost same specification, Galaxy S only have bigger SUPER AMOLED and Andriod firmware, and my friends the android firmware is not the reason for a price difference of Rs10000 between wave and galaxy S(as low cost devices like galaxy 3 and galaxy 5 are also having the same). Its the screen that makes the difference. The legal cost of wave is around Rs22000-24000. Samsung is not getting the market margin in Rs17000-18000 so they decided to pull the model back. But satisfied customers like us made the wave so popular that Samsung decided to produce a same device(but no SUPER AMOLED)named Wave s8530....however its almost same as that of wave but guys....Wave really stands tall against all devices of its class.... i congratulate my those friends who owns this cuty...fell luck guys that u owns the most desired device.... :-)

Is everyone here in the philippines knows when is the new firmware update (BADA 1.2) will become available? Im trying to search it in the Samsung wave forum but there is no info. I cant wait for the new software. By the way I love my wave. I cant live without my wave. Waiting for your response.. Thanks!!! Wave Rock!!!!!

mine is an asian model flashed to European firmware version bada os 1.2, now it works like magic,the speed and stability (most of it),
it's true, wave 1 global stock are depleting since samsung already seized it's production (as far as i know), this cannot be equated to phasing out of the model but due to diverting the limited supply of superamoled technology to high margin business opportunity/models. they priced wave $200-$250 lower to SGS while the hardware is nearly identical except the RAM size and screen size but that wouldn't justify the pricing gap and for the thought Android OS is an source(it should be more cheaper than home brewed OS-bada). just my 2 cents....

Bada 1.0 is so much better than bada 1.0.2,u shouldt hav upgraded ur fw.

OMG..this is an awesome phone. the OS is similar to i OS. SAMSUNG really ROCKS...!!! the picture quality and camera is unbelievable..!!! WOW...!!!!

after changing my password in my messenger/e-mail account my phone says ID or password invalid and now i cant download my e-mails to my phone although all works fine on my PC.anyone else had this problem and solved it??
