hummingbird, 04 Dec 2010bought it at wellcom sm megamall cyberzone,price is 18,450 php...that might be the new stocks. i'm just guessing, because the early batches might have arrived with the asian region firmware installed; newer batches may have the european version. if you want to upgrade the firmware, you could try the multiloader method which you can install the latest Bada. i'm getting one after christmas, and if there's still no asian update, i'll just manually flash the phone with bada 1.2

bought ths masterpiece aka mini led 2months bck.hd sm software issues nd battery in early days bt after upgradng nd usng batter bck is arnd 2days wth normal usage nd software is fast nd no lags nd bugs.bt samsung hv to work mr n bada.I AGREE SAMSUNG SERVICE SUCKS bt um hvng nokia n8 nd dad iphone 4 also thy bth seems piecwe f shit nd wastage f money in frnt f money.dnt wait 4 wave2 super lcd stand nowhr super amoled.peace out \/

why is wave priced at Rs 18000 and Galaxy at Rs 28000????
WAve advantage over galaxy-
1.full metallic body
2.Full led flash
3.more smooth os
Galaxy disadvantage over wave-
1.full plastic body
2.no flash
Galaxy advantage over wave-
1.android os
2.bigger screen (but it makes the phone look bigger and less dense pixels on the galaxy than wave)
so,i think the wave should be just 2-3000 rs cheaper than galaxy.Wat do u guys think????

just wanna ask what is your phone's FW? mine is XXJH3,its the one installed when i purchased this phone, bought it last week,as i have read darkforest's forum,this is not an Asian region,ryt?and it has european widgets,and maybe this is the reason why i could not update in kies,is it the same as yours?

It takes like ten minutes to do with multiloader and works perfect. Everybody is complaining about the update not coming through kies BUT you can get it through unofficial channels.
I have none of the problems you mentioned in your last post because I have BADA 1.2!!

Hi Narcolepsy, about your statement it's depend on which country you're at. Not everyone is being able to updated to bada 1.2 by any chances. Because in Asia country all are getting only bada 1.0 Unless you are using multi loader to flash your WAVE.
For me, I personally started to think Samsung is going to ruin it bada smartphone if they don't seriously make up their mind and release the bada 1.2 to all the users around the world. Since bada 1.2 has been released few months ago in Europe country. But Samsung only release bada 1.02 to the Asia country :(
So what do you think ?? Other country users have been used bada 1.2 for quite some time and now Asia country user only get bada 1.02 ?? And Samsung some more taken away the "Call Recording" function after updated to JK1 firmware.
This is totally ridiculous, because "Call Recording" function is also written in the user manual since day 1 I open the box for my WAVE. For me, I also really need that function as well.
We all keep waiting for so long and expected to get bada 1.2 at the end of this year. So disappointed when bada 1.02 is the only release for Asia country. Further more bada 1.02 is also been released very long ago for other country.
And now how WAVE can compete with other Smartphone ??
Every Nokia phone running on Symbian OS can do "Call Recording" !! Why Samsung need to take it out from WAVE ??
Initially I was said that every Symbian phone can do, WAVE is also able to do it. But now Symbian can do, WAVE cannot do. What is going on ?? :(
I can understand partly from "Saurav" of what he feel about Samsung.
