helloo.. i am frm inida, is samsung s8500 wave is now not available in inida, i gone to various shop in mumbai, but they r saying out of stock, and samsung is not producing enough samsung wave, due to the shortage of super amelod screen,,, any truth in this ...

after being a proud owner of wave, only today that i managed to use the music recognition function in the music player..its very simple & reliable!..i was listening to this song on the radio, i just open the music player,tap the 3 dots at the bottom, select music recognition..
click the record button & put the phone mic at the speaker..in 10 seconds (if i'm not mistaken), the recording is completed & it automatically use packet data to get the song name,singer & also the cover album!..gonna use it more often after this...i keep on remembering the lyrics, but not the title..hope this benefit u guys too!!..

They need to launch Paid apps in all ... morecontinued..
hey should Speed up the App approval process..Should take top 100 apps & games from Apple and Android stores and port them to BADA..Should stop fragmenting the OS .. and prevent the situation Android is facing today.. should provide the paid apps at very low price if not fo free for the first 1 month to attract downloads..
Otherwise people incline towards cracked games and apps by all means..

But as u might have already know u cant make calls via Skype in Wave

2. Telephony: Rating - 9/10

Till the introduction of Iphone, Telephony has been the utmost important feature on a mobile phone. But not sure if it is still the same now-a-days. Companies launching lavish handsets with hell nbr of features to cry out (which costs a bomb) but with sub-standard call reception hardware and mechanism.
All said, Wave performs extremely well in telephony. Ease of making calls is gr8, signal reception is adequate enough, voice quality thru headset and inbuit speaker are pretty decent. The proximity sensor works perfectly which is very imp on a touch screen mobile.
On the other side, there are few things that Sammy needs to work upon. Fortunately all of them are software related and can be easily implemented (if at all Samsung wants to) with in the future firmware upgrades. Finding a number from contacts while one a call should be done in a simpler way, than pressing menu button and going launcing contacts again; then searching for the contact need. Several people out there are used to speed dialing. It can be introduced
easily I guess. Of course u have 'Buddies Now' which can serve the purpose. But I felt this widget to be a bit laggy and definetly need some tuning. And the last missing thing is voice dialing which I would never use anyway.
The UI for making and receiving calls is nicely touch optimized and few gestures uses using built-in Accelerometer as well. You wont miss eye-candy even in telephony :)
