Which update for Samsung Wave S8500 will be available & when ? I am using wave for almost two months. Its a great phone for sure. But we do need upgrades. Can anyone tell me when these firmware upgrades will be available through kies ?

when i try to installl application directly from phone after downloading it vl get paused instead of installing....???plz help

... morevG1x.....we've told before that we bought the samsung wave because of bada,bada is a very powerful os in its first release and it gets stronger and stronger with bada 1.2 in any moment and bada 2.0 in early 2011.

how come you know all this that samsung co. was not earning any profit from samsung wave s 8500. hence they stopped the models.. and tell me why would a company will sell its product at such a rate that it can't earn profit.... they pay to their marketing managers.. and according to my knowledge they will not select such range at the stake of their jobs.. they are not paid for making guesses, they are paid because they have to keep such a range such that the company does not have to bare any loss...

san, 16 Nov 2010i want to buy samsung wave s8500...how about the battery of... moreyes san..wave is the best option for stunning music..my battery supports music upto 12 hours and videos upto 7 hours..not as joint...

what ever may happen...u ll never b satisfied with ur phone...u may rate us down, but internally wave owners will always b satisfied for what they got..
n never buy N8...unless it has better specs than wave n only if it comes with android..

For all those wavers who are facing battery issues in their Wave handsets, i want to share something important which can increase their battery performance.
There is a malware/virus in majority of the external memory cards provided with the wave handsets by Samsung. This malware is always running in the background and utilizing the CPU, which consumes a lot of extra battery life without any usage. Even in the idle mode it is keeping the CPU busy and consuming battery in idle mode as well.
The solution is simple however, jusy connect your devide in mass storage mode to any PC which has a good antivirus sofware installed. Clean you memory card with it and now the battery life will be increased further.
I am having the battery problem in my Wave and have tried so many thing but in vain. But after cleaning the memory card the battery performance increased significantly. I hope it will help quite alot wavers in this forum.
