wat r d benefits of mDNie on dis phone????i went to *#197-------(dont remember the full number) then to mDNie menu and how can we knw weather it is activated or not?????its written [off] at d side of "activate mDNie".so is it off or it will get off if i press 2??????pls someone help in dis regard........

hi,
got my samsung wave yesterday, it is simply the coolest phone i have ever seen. i compared it with iphone 3gs & found that features are just the same with good battery life. asphalt 5 is addicting & so is the HD video recording. In all good value for money!

Hey guys, i found this also:
many of you probably didn't noticed any difference between cp uart(full power) and up uart(battery saving mode).But the difference is BIG.
Read/write speed is 7 times faster in cp uart mode

Press 4 then 6 then 1 and you will see the result of ap uart mode, now change it to cp uart mode and do the sam thing ;-)

If you have problem with battery, go to service menu *#197328640# and go to (8) Common.
In next menu go to (8) DVFS Configuration and press 3 (200mhz) and with this downclock your battery is MUCH longer!

There must be a reason. :-)
Unless you can explain what those features are for, I'll settle for the default settings. ;-)

Most of you should have noticed that with the new versions of KIES 1.5.3..., whenever you click on the Upgrade icon and later tries to close the sub-window, that it takes a long time to close and usually displaying th error message: "MST Thunder Firmware has stopped working".
The problem is because of a missing subkey in registry which was not created by the installation of KIES 1.5.3....
The missing subkey in registry is "FUS".
Solution: Go to registry and add the missing "FUS" as shown below:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Samsung\FUS]
How: Click Window Start=> on search/cmd line enter, regedit => expand "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" => expand "Software" => expand "Samsung" =>
right-click on "Samsung" and select "New" => click on "Key"
(a "New Key #1" will be created) => rename this "New Key #1" to FUS.
That's all. MST Thunder error is solved.
