got the kies update today, no more hang ups/errors while checking for fw updates. the phone is great its a masterpiece just waiting for the bada update

One of the best phones that I've ever had... cool apps; super fast response and ultimate connectivity... not to mention the best so far on phone display that I've seen... I wasn't planning to buy one but got it when I saw it, I was thinking of getting the galaxy but it's huge compared to S8500.
Buy one to feel it, you won't be disappointed, I just hope that the have plans for Bada cause if not, I'll get another one.

hello ,
my dear wave users , recently i owned samsung wave.
having gr8 exprnce on it. but there is two major problem with set , i thought i hv to put this prob on this opinion site.
1 . samsung kies installed sucessfully but did nt recognised my phone....
2. when trying to open wifi internet browser says "dns error"
both these problems going me mad...
well i am using bsnl wifi modem , and put every config... as per my lappy wifi config but problem is still unmoved.. read to many ans on google 90% indian facing same problem. so plzzz plzz let me help yaar..

hoho, 16 Oct 2010u can play subtitle file with movie but not with the stock ... morethe subtitles are supported in the stock player.

Updated Samsung Kies to 1.5.3.10093_82
It no longer detects my phone and it displays something in Korean. I don't speak Korean.
Id rather wait for a two or three-month update than being treated to a half-bake updates every week.

One help please:
A Samsung Wave manufactured in a country lets you download and run applications available on App Samsung from another country, or we are limited by the country store. Example: Wave manufactured in Brazil would download and run an application available on the App Portugal. Has anyone done this kind of test?

billyjmcbee, 15 Oct 2010the battery barely lasts 2 whole days. both me and my two o... moreI must add: connections (wi-fi, bluetooth, internet) just great. there are some ways to help you save battery life. mine lasts 3 days or so. i set the screen brightness to minimum.unless I'm using the apps outdoor, which rarely happens :)

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2010hey m thinkin whether t buy samsung wave o sum oda samsung ... morego for wave! my friend got it for me from Malaysia last month because it was not sold in Indonesia,yet (still). i'm telling you, this phone is beauty-brain-speed combined. an all-rounder! especially if you're into multimedia. you won't regret it! the built is very good,too. i accidentally dropped it to the floor,twice (ouch..!), from more than 1m high, but nothing changed performance-wise. no scratch/bump either because of the metal body, only a tiny bit of paint peeled of in a hidden part.

Hey guys i have heard that subtitles can work in wave, so only movie with in-built subtitles can be played, or movie & individual subtitle can also be played? (hope this make sense :P)

deepu, 15 Oct 2010oho that means u r using mobile ap... can u connect it via ... morei cant tether my phone cos in the set-up menu my service provider(orange) isnt in the list.when i choose my country only a select few providers are listed including one that hasnt been around for nearly ten years.which i find kinda strange.i dont know why they excluded orange.
