the battery barely lasts 2 whole days. both me and my two other friends bought the same model, but from different stores, also the wifi comes and goes - even by standing right under neath the wireless router

cooza, 15 Oct 2010strangely enough mine says "excellent signal" sho... moreoho that means u r using mobile ap... can u connect it via ur usb .. then tether by kies.. then plz post the link spd??

hey m thinkin whether t buy samsung wave o sum oda samsung phone which has android os.... d onli question which is troublin me is dat dis wave has bada os.... is dis beta dan android os?? will it be like, ill be repentin afta i buy dis wave tellon android phone cld ve been beta.. so guy plzz suggest whether t buy dis samsung wave o fr eg samsung galaxy I5801(which has android os).... so which is beta?? m in a dilemma... but dis fone samsung wave is vei popular.... which shld i buy wave o galxy I5801???? pllzz rply properly t dis question guys....!! waitin.....(guys its galaxy I5801 Apollo not galaxy3 I5800) which shld i buy??? galaxy i5801 o wave???

Go to settings >USB >PC-Internet option(In ur wave)
NOw connect ur wave to ur lappy, nd u will find a removable storage device which wd be havn a name Samsung Mobile. Get inside that and you will find a ICM_ML.exe file. Nowduble click that file and den it will ask you to install USB drivers, nd the in the internet connection manager, just clik next and complete the whole process.
Now after doing all this, go to C drive program files/samsung/networking wizard_ICM folder and dere u would find a NW.mdb file. Just open it with MS Access and den open the APN table.
Now various countries would be shwn, nd under the country, find the India BSNL....
As soon as u wouldfind the India BSNL, just see settings which are given across the India BSNL...
Now change the fields as mentioned....
APN NAme : bsnlnet
Phone Number : *99#
QoSMin : 1,0,0,0,0,0
QoSRequest : 1,0,0,0,0,0
Now save the file and come out.
Now open samung networking wwizard d and follw the instructions by selecting bsnl....ur done now, now it would ask for the dialing just click nd u wd be connected...it works in bsnl 2g as well.....

Jayson, 15 Oct 2010@ats I think you set your destination media to phone memor... morei have set the default media to memory card,i am asking about the non-stop video recording is 1 hour and after that the video recording stops and then again u will need to push the video rec button to record again.i want it to be nonstop till the memory card is full or the battery is out.

I think that reason is this: sometimes when i go to procesor usage,screen show me 1% in idle state, but sometimes usage go to 10%.What is the reason of this??????????? why screen show me that procesor use 10 % of power when i do nothing.
Beside that this is the best phone i have ever had in my life.Piece of art.
STEEL!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT SOME PLASTIC GARBAGE
I highly recommend this phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you set your destination media to phone memory. Set it to ext. memory. My ext. memory allows me to records more than 2 hours. Look in Settings > Memory > and set it accordingly.

wave is not easily available even in delhi..i purchased it a week before after searching a lot....it cost me 17400..!!!
its a nice phone..but i didnt find the speaker and camera that goood...!!..screen n speed is just awsome....

2. dnld free ... moreis it nesessary to download 248mb india map to use gps...is there any other free option available?
i hope after this 248mb download, it will not ask for voucher key...!!!!
