hi guys I am intrested i upgrading the wave, i have noted down whole process (thanks a lot to users who gave full detail)but now i want to know that what is the need to update i mean what changes appears after update? i am scared to do it because my earlier nokia phones becomes very slow after update and could not seen any change.
Thatswhy i want to confirm what changes appears in bada1.2 what about speed of phone? does it goes to fast or slow or remain as it is ? and most important thing does it have changes in web browser ( to download unsupported file)? web browser is most important thing for me.
guys plz tell me out and this not only for me most of user r curious about these things so anybody which have updated his phone plz help.

U shud have taken out ur memory card before hard reset.

I cn nt upgrade the firmware of my wave...
whenever i connect to kies it says firmware upgrade available click here to proceed but when i click it shows what is upgrade available but when i press upgrade it says "Firmware upgrade cn nt proceed. Firmware upgrade will close."
"MSC.Thunder.FirmwareUpdate has stopped working." this comes at the end...
Plz help me out anyone..

Hey follow this same procedure for ur problem it will be solved den..
Type *#197328640#
Click the button 5 ( Audio )
Click the button 2 ( AP, Volume Config)
Click on the button 2 (EAR Config )
Click the button 1 (volume MP) - to increase the volume of music files or the 5 key (FM Radio volume ) - Radio
We can see the 7 lines (0-6 ) we can increase the value of
all lines (these are the lines that define the level at each
support ), you can change any of them or increase only
last value of 58dB to 75dB and 100db max .
To increase headphone volume, select line 6 and then tap on the white box below the number keypad 2-3 times. A new window will pop up - Enter the value over there. Click on done and ok twice.

buh wenever i put up some value it jus takes a single digit
and now all levels are set below 10
its nt reverting bak to 61 even
n now my fone has no ringtone

Samsung Wave is great m awesome phone in market, yesterday i bought it n felling is un expressable this is really magnificent phone that i expected from it i got much much more than this really a good phone wid all multimedia features n great responsive touch screen.
I have only one issue in dis phone whenever u receive call then u phone rings very low even ur phone volume sets high then after very first second it rings according to high volume......am i facing only this prob. or one of u guyz have got it too kindly reply ur reply will be highly appreciated....thx wtng for ur reply

Is it possible to edit documents on this handset n while playing games does it lags. does the compass works properly.
