GUYS wave has been stopped due to the shortage of AMOLED screen for that price so from now on only wave2 will be sold

The S8530 will replace Wave 2 Wave 1? Or just complete the product line. Samsung seems to have problems with the production of AMOLED.

Hey,
I want to ask whether S8500 is a good deal or not. Sure, its the number one phone on the gsmarena site. The hardware is pretty fast and promising. But the main dilemma is the software. Its the new born Bada OS. Is this OS worth it? I mean its new, it has limited apps out there, it has to face the tough competition by the god-like Android OS out there in the wild. Will it be as user friendly as Android OS? Will it have a bright future potential?

Hey Guyz,
I cn nt upgrade the firmware of my wave...
whenever i connect to kies it says firmware upgrade available click here to proceed but when i click it shows what is upgrade available but when i press upgrade it says "Firmware upgrade cn nt proceed. Firmware upgrade will close."
"MSC.Thunder.FirmwareUpdate has stopped working." this comes at the end...
Plz help me out anyone...

Bada 1.2 network signal reception also improved..
Multitasking v v v v improved.. run asphalt 5 and another heavy game together...

Well.......it seems like everyone is awaiting the arrival of the Bada OS 1.2
Bada 1.2 is a huge improvement on system stability and usability as well as integrated some new function.
Can't imagine how the Bada 1.5 /1.6 /2.0 will be :)

Got this phone a month back, this is in addition to the nokia E72 which I already have. Let me tell you something-the wave kicks nokia ass around the park and then some. this phone is fast, efficient and everything the e72 is not. messaging is super easy, so is surfing or checking emails. battery life is amazing considering its a samsung phone and thats not it, the video capture is excellante! What else do you want from your phone. I'm donating my e72 btw to whoever will use it for teaching your dog to fetch.

I just updating to bada 1.2 from LISXXJEE. The phone browsers is a lot more fluid and the swype text input is so fast and easy to use. Everything works fine, haven't tried the camera yet but it was easy to do. I flashed the phone via multiloader. There is a good explanation of how to do it from Sam on Page 7 - 8 on this forum. Download the new firmware and multoloader package from samsungfirmware.com. good luck.
If you are having battery problems type in *#8740# and change to AP ART and your battery will improved 10 fold.
