hi, 29 Sep 2010i have decided to buy this but have to wait a week since it... moreSorry kies is for pc only therefore no support for macs. if u have mass storage support( i don't know if macs allow mass storage bcoz i never operated a mac) thn u can connect ur phone to mac/ucan do same via bluetooth or wifi. For apps & games installation u'll hav to rely on wifi/3g/gprs/edge network and dnld ota frm samsung apps to ur phone.

nusry, 28 Sep 2010x6 or samsung wave? samsung is better when we compare feat... moreYa wave hav apps via apps store/ kies.
In x6 u can use Mobile office. in wave u can use picsel mobile office. both r same.
x6 have tons of games but most r low compared 2 graphics of wave. btw x6 can't play newest 3d games like asphalt 5 bcoz its cpu & os wont allow it. On the other hand wave has major titles like Asphalt5, NFS Shift (All free), & HAWX, Real football 2010,assassins creed...(paid)
but u hav 2 rely on kies for pc transfer even ebooks needed kies 4 installation. in x6 its lots simpler jst copy paste :).
If u want tons of game titles, apps go for x6 (symbian has most apps don't rely on ratings of iphone apps store count & most r hacked :))
but if u want a super phone with best display(SAMOLED), best CPU (Iphone & galaxy s uses same), one of the best cam, best battery, gr8 gaming.... go 4 wave

can anyone help me understand how to switch off an application eg-camera after using it, some programs remain running in the back ground, when i try to use another one it says that the previous program is still running and i need to switch it off, is there an easy way of switching all running programs ?

I recently updated to the latest bada version... now I have one problem:

the music player starts off on its own once or twice a day. and it even goes to the speaker, eventhough the cell is set to mute. does anyone else have the same problem?

one tip, just by the names, water is life and fire is no much for it.

                            wave over wildfire
                            -slimmer
                            -super amoled
-4x the screen resolution of wildfire (wvga)
-720p video recording with true 30fps
                            -DNSe
                            -higher phone memory
                            -more camera features
                            -1Ghz Processor
                            -higher battery capacity
                            -video calling
-great performance on music and video playback
                            -Bada OS, young but capable

                            Wildfire over Wave
-Android OS with lots of apps
                            -slightly cheaper

-oh yes! the name which sounds expensive. jejeje

wave is still on the number 1 prime spot on rankings

well, this phone is great just like what i have said in my first post. but i have to comment on the screen lock.. i think the "swipe-to-unlock" is useless since it will cost you time. by merely pressing the lock key on the upper right side is already an effort to initiate unlock, the you need to swipe for unlock success... i dont know what's the logic behind. you cant use the front keys to stimulate the screen and swipe the screen to unlock.. -OR- i am just missing something here... help would be appreciated. thanks.

I also installed cracked vn of ms office 2007. with 3rd party application you can have everything.

i wish you can also do it in your mobiles.

                                      Good luck!

how do you define Bada Os vs Symbian?

i am using 5530 and i call her Francesca..
                                        i've got tons of downloads over d o t s i s . c o m with its s60v5 os. and i am so enjoying it.
