Wave is a crippled version of galaxy s. Even though the specifications match, I noticed that galaxy can play flv,real and 1080p movies but wave can't.hope the future firmware upgrades take care of this.I really dont wanna miss those features in wave :(
I am addicted to watching movies on my phone.I have even ditched my PC for wave. Movie watching experience with 5.1 SRS is awesome. But dolby is missing, wanna compare it with N8 once it's launched

Go to Samsungapps.com and select the country as Netherland and search for Zaklamp. Its free. This app uses LED as the torch.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2010um.. my first question is "Do you really own the Wave?... moreWave photos sure looks nice on the S-AMOLED Display. But you can't see 5 mp amount of details on a 480x800 pixels display. You can best judge a photo if you view it on your PC or laptop.
What do you think of these 5 mp cameraphones?

Why the Wave has not been launched in Pakistan yet and why it doesn't have the Arabic language support yet? After waiting for so long i had to ask my Uncle to send it to me from Singapore. Anyway after having it now the hands-on experience is unbelieveable. Super AMOLED Screen is awsome. 5MP Camera is better then Nokia N8 8MP. Social Hub is really impressive. BADA has few memory bugs though which i hope will be removed soon as the OS will get mature. Not to mention that this phone is immensely fast, no lags at all.
And by the way why Google is not supporting BADA? are they affraid that their Android will lose the race with BADA? Then why still no Google Map for BADA?

This is my 3rd week using the Wave and its an AWESOME phone!! I recommend this phone to everyone. I am typing this comment in my Wave .

i wanna buy samsung wave but i hav heard that the new lot of wave phones are facing bit of problem like software problem touch screen prob....
is it true?
how is the internet browser of wave(dolfin browser) i mean is it user frndly and fast or not?

Just wanna ask, ny progress abt u buying gal... moreWell I used the Galaxy S of my friend for just 3 days, the 4" screen is unbelievably awesome, it's fast, Android 2.1 is fantastic, so I can't think how good 2.2 will be. Anyway, no flash for camera is horrible thing, though I needed not for Camera but for use it as a torch. The 5MP shooter is average, Wave's one is just a bit better than Galaxy S. Anyway, I need to get back to business and thus I am buying the hTC Desire HD, I just loved it and I love hTC. Super AMOLED is good, it's an entertainment or fun, but not useful or related with phones funcionality, so I will miss it and thats no big problem. S-LCD of Desire HD is good too. Samsung is just not right for me if it's a high end smartphone. ALL MY OPINION. NO OFFENSE WITH ANYTHING/ANYBODY.

i have enough space in both my memory card and phone memory.

1.Whenever I received... morefor your first problem :it is only about one second of soft ring and I like this feature because for me when the phone rings loudly suddenly is a very annoying thing.
for the second problem :I face this when the 10 menu pages are full and I want to install another app but for movies ,songs and many other things I don't face that.
