Redsun, 14 Sep 2010Please let me know the procedure for uninstalling of Instal... moreat menu mode, there's an edit button on the upper left side, click that, then those apps that can be uninstalled will have a red negative sign on the upper right corner of the app icon, u just click that to uninstall apps. as to the resetting, im not sure if you're referring to this but you can try setting > reset (below memory and security). there are options there on which you want to reset. hope this helps. good luck

Hey every body out there i went to mumbai on Ganesh vacation and did some HD recording and watched it on my HD tV to my surprise this phone records at 12000kbps bit rate its too good HD recording quality not a single pixel seen on my HD tv

Samsung S8500 Wave will still rule the Multimedia Phone Segment after releasing Nokia N8, C7 and C6-01, etc. The Nokia phones are very lazy and poor but pricey enough than Samsung

Regarding battery life
Full charge to 100% @ 10pm
10pm - 11pm listening to mp3 via headphones
11pm - 11:15pm surfing via wifi
11:15pm - 7am on standby
7:15am - 7:45am watching divx (ironman 2)
about 30 texts messages, and 10mins of talk, 20 mins of internet via 3g during the day.
30 mins of mp3.
battery at 74% as of 6:30pm
Screen set at 5 brigtness, backlight at 30 seconds.
I run the battery down until it basically shuts down then I charge it up to 100% with the phone turned off.
I can get a good 3 days on the wave with this sort of routine. I have had the wave for 3 months and the battery just keeps improving but make sure you have all programs running in the background turned off or I have noticed that the battery does drain rather fast.

about the battery deal ....
i was had the corby pro and now the great wave
i did something and it really works 100%
1st wait till the phone shut down and the battery become empty
2nd plug the phone on the charger and don't start up it till the battery became 100% charged
enjoy long life samsung battery life................
by the way nokia n8 is stupidphone not smartphone full of cons and slooooooooooow like old bike :@

hey guys i am planning to buy this phone but i never really trusted samsung can someone help me? i am afraid that samsung might abandon this just like what they did on OMNIA HD. some said that samsung is a bad at after-sales. please i need answer i really want this phone but this problem is holding me back to buy this phone.

I have Galaxy S and WAVE, specially made a comparison between two phones, WAVE never delay, while the Galaxy is sometimes a slight delay! Personally, I think, BADA is even better than Android, compared to that BADA is a brand new operating system. Anyone can grab Galaxy S & WAVE and make a difference in the speed of the phone. WAVE is much better Multi-Touch than GALAXY.

I dare say that WAVE concerning features and price is the best phone ever made ! I see that in all the forums, almost all holders of WAVE, says this: I LOVE MY WAVE!
So that and I LOVE MY WAVE :)
