mayb... moreI get about the 4 day mark but even under lots of videoing and excessive use it lasts 18hrs,,same abuse with n86 lasts 4-5hrs.Its the third fone i can use at full blast scren britness and leave bluetooth on and 3g and i know i will get thru the day with it,the second is my e72 and third was n82 but n82 had to be used full blast cause of dim screen..
I sold wave to buy SGS but sold SGS to get wave back,,wave has tonnes better battery and batter screen and FLASH..Wave is not my main fone cause hate touchscreen and even texting on wave i make loads of mistakes,,i should practise but in day to day life your fones got to work for you and be productive and touchscreens just slow me down..
I have put this before but even forgetting BADA this fone for the price is superb..I f it just had a slide out t9 and d-pad this would be my ultimate fone,,9.5/10

Total deception with this phone. I have been a SAMSUNG fan since always but I was expecting much more from the WAVE. Hardware wise is very very good but the BADA OS is a joke...still full of bugs, no SKYPE. The battery on my 3 years old iphone still last longer than the one in my new WAVE.TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

deepest_sense, 15 Sep 2010why it's rating 9.1? And nokia n8 only 8.3? Is it better than n8?n8 is slower phone with old processor and older display and horrible OS and smaller RAM etc...

Guys,
Several of you are telling this that Wave can last 4/5 days with a normal use, on the other hand some of u r telling that goes max 2days of minimum use.
For me It goes hardly a 1 day, if i use 30mins of calls, 30 mins Video, 10 mins of Gaming & 30 mins WIFI.....the phone is great but the battery life is not good for me, Can some one clarify why we are facing different battery life Experiences????

Is it worth investing in bada? Before answering this question, you need to ask yourself why C++ hasn't been a popular development language in the mobile market thus far. The frequently cited excuse is: "C++ is too complex" but that's nonsense. If C++ is good enough for developing server applications, operating systems and just about any database engine, among the rest, how can it be unsuitable for mobile apps? Just because it doesn't have a GC? The size and complexity of C++ are a non-issue because every mobile platform uses a distilled subset of the core language, often omitting STL, exception handling and several other features that get in the way (namespaces, anyone?) . It's worth reminding C++ critiques that even Java uses the same strategy: roughly speaking, J2SE, J2EE and J2ME are three different languages where one is superset of the other.
I suspect that the main cause for the under-representation of C++'s in the mobile market is the lack of funding. Java has succeeded in the mobile arena because Sun has poured billions of dollars on promoting Java technology very aggressively during the past 16 years. Java is certainly not an ideal language or platform for mobile apps (if anything, a scripting language would be a much better choice), but when a giant company promotes its technology with unlimited funding for such a long time, the big bucks talk. In 2010 things are starting to change, though. Sun is now history, and for the first time in more than 10 years, C++ is enjoying the funding and backing of Samsung, a global giant. From what I can tell, bada has the right tools in its arsenal: cool C++ APIs, a sleek IDE, and Samsung's endorsement -- all that's needed to ensure that bada users have access to the latest market trends (touchscreens, application stores). There's no reason why bada shouldn't reach a remarkable market share in the next 2-5 years, provided of course that Samsung retains steady and generous funding for this ambitious project. Put more bluntly, for the first time in years, C++ has a chance to prove what I've always believed and known: it's much better than Java even as mobile app development language.

I am after a navigation apps for the map of UK, how do I do this? there is nothing that I could spot in samsung app store which is very odd as this is the most important app, may be I am missing this can someone who using anything like this help me please?????
