Nokia customer care is all 'airs'. They have not resolved a single issue till date. I had a nokia X6 and i lost it. They do not have a facility to trace it and can't lock it either.
I had an unlimited ovi music subscription and they told it cannot be transfered to another device and cannot be deactivated either. They consider the theif their customer rather than me!!! I pay money and they provide free music and gps to that bastard.. Lousy nokia, bought wave, It is a million times better than any nokia...

U (nd others) shud solve one more of my prob... moreEven i did that once and was unable to unblock it.Then i found one way.You just dial that number once and go to call log>select that number>select the three dots(...)>select block contact>unblock the message(if the message option is disabled then block the call also and then again select the clock contact option).....hope this helps you...

It was love at first sight, me and my Wave. I wasn't able to buy it immediately because I have doubts. My doubts disappeared when I bought it. Its outstanding total quality is underrated. I love this phone. :)

helo all, my samsung wave arrived from kolkatta, today is my first day with wave, i like it, really diferent from picture. very attractive. can i upgrade to bada 1.0.2 ? is it safe here in INDIA

samsung wave has an excellent camera and its flash is what made me preferring it on the galaxy and I can't live without the video light but i don't mind an extra xenon flash.
since my old nokia 2.4" screen phone i've enjoyed watching movies on my phone screen and now wave offers the super amoled screen which i couldn't resist especially when there are times when i am stuck in work and no TV allowed ;)
but for the apps Bada is still new and i knew i will need to wait at least 6 months to get the apps you've mentioned.
few months before the wave i bought a windows mobile because it offers some important softwares for my job which were not available on 5800 nor n95.
now i am still using both phones so i don't feel like missing anything:)

I am really struggling these days to get an upgrade for my phone...
Not sure which one shud I pick!! N8 or Wave..
Few things preventing me to get Wave:
1. Video calling via Internet is blocked for ever (bloody restriction)
2. Limited multi-tasking (atm)
3. Not enough support from developers yet
4. Edge class 12 (not 32)
But I like all the rest of its features.. In fact I love them ;-)
Nokia is still not releasing N8 .. idiots .. not even giving an official release date .. they are too slow like their Symbian >:O
But I like the N8's design, HDMI out, and unrestricted nature of Symbian..Yes, symbian is bearable if and only if Nokia does right with their pricing..hmmmmm but N8...not sure .. might range from 25k to 28k INR.. which is a bit on the higher side than the copetetion.
I have had enough nbr of Symbian phones before. But not now :) and so have mental piece (no lagging, crashing, restating bakwas anymore) but miss few Novelties Symbian brings..
Somebody told here that .. Symbian UI is highly customizable.. If they are talking about the themes available for Symbian, yes there are hell nbr of them out there..but are they really good nd usable??
The problem is that if u use any other 3rd party themes ur Nokia is prone to laggs and crashes every now nd then.. I guess most of the Symbian users have had the same experience.
PS: By Symbian I meant only the released versions..not S^3.. still waiting for its release and Review before rounding up on N8..If it fails to deliver again like S^1..I am done with Nokia and Symbian for ever.. will get my Wave..
To be frank I am a little biased toward Sammy..becos it delivers what it says it would. But really not a fan of their mobile software. And really hope Bada grows faster and make the world's best Sammy's h/w utilized to its fullest extent.

guys 5mp amera is enough......its mobile not digital camera...so if we bought a 12 mp camera phone ike n8 the pictures are not as good as a digital camera.....

bada is way better than symbian.....i have also nokia 5800 and its too slow .....

What I hate about bada is the closed nature of the platform. Though it supports apps tailored for the platform, the os is not optimised to use the phone's available resources to the max. You know very well how easy it is to configure push mail and not to mention backing up personal data in symbian. And also the freedom of installing apps downloaded from other sources. With Bada, you still have to depend on samsung apps and what they provides. if you look the other way round, symbian has more unrecognised apps than bada has in the whole app store.
Don't you miss skype and fring? Or the oldschool GPSP emulator that is able to play gameboy advance games? I think you would most certainly miss opera mobile and google maps (not the java variant) and not to mention free navigation.

i'm increse the music player volume at 62 ..the sound is excelent and the bass is fantastic...but the ringtone volume in not increse at 90

phones fan, 11 Sep 2010may be you are right Bada is not mature enough but it is st... moreI hate restriction BTW and coming from a symbian BG, i would have to admit that though symbian is kind of on the slower side (not as buggy atleast with the latest gen touch phones) what i really like is the lack of restrictions imposed by the OS. For eg symbian browser can download any kind of file regardless of whether the phone is able to open that file or not. And currently symbian has almost everything you need like a proper doc editor, 3rd party video and audio player, even a torrent client. In addition symbain also supports a myriad of 3rd party themes and apps that can tightly integrate with the OS. Like for eg: opening a torrent file from file manager will automatically open the suitable torrent lient that is installed. These things just makes life much more easier. Sometimes usability really counts than speed.

J... morebefore the wave i was a symbian user and i like symbian but symbian does not fit to wave because wave is a very advanced phone with a fast processor ,big ram and very it is a very stylish phone and symbain is not user friendly it will make my wave looks like it was built in 2005.
I don't mind andriod or iOS running on my wave because there are a lot of similarities between them and Bada.
