Do Samsung provide free upgradation of BADA OS if they improve it in near future.

the route66 navigation software made me download a 250mb file for india route maps but then to actually use navigation, it is askin me to make a payment of about 70 euros/annum... i was hoping that such applications would be part of the package... not a paid service :(..
anybody has an alternative to this?

besides that, wud someone know how to setup samsung wave as a webcam?

                Thanks in advance!

                        The Good:

                        - Very responsive screen, great UI
                        - Best screen ever
                        - 1GHz CPU - this monster tackles apps laughingly
                        - Two color variants: full black model / gray bars model
                        - No dedicated music keys, has a dedi camera key
                        - The OS is a pleasure to work with, intelligent touch features everywhere

                        The Bad:

                        - Audio quality is substandard, even with high-end headphones. Bad Frequency response, no custom EQ, horrible presets, horrible dolby effect, and the worst-in-class audio effects like live and external. Nokia N91 is remains light years ahead, and the wave is a joke compared to it in terms of audio quality.

                        - Games stutter inspite of great hardware (Asaphalt 5)

Well, you can use R66 for a month. After it expired, you will not be able to route any trip but still show your current position. Therefore, you have to buy advance navigation package from R66, which is quite expensive in order to use turn by turn navigation. You can not just reset your phone because the licence key is synced with your phone and R66 server with phone's IMEI. As soon as R66 app starts, it asks you whether you want to sync licence keys, yes then it activated , no then, can't use navigation.

You can check google maps for mobile comparison here. m(dot)google(dot)com(slash)maps Android has the most features because it's google. iPhone one is rather limited one and Wave has the worst one because it's a browser version. Java version also exists but not too good either. I used to have windows mobile version and it's working well without turn by turn navigation.

iPhone has many navigation softwares such as TomTom mobile and other navigation softwares (plenty). They can be used without data connection like R66 but they are also expensive like R66.
