for the battery issue, not everyone is suffering from it! and i think they are not alot of people, and in many cases it is not a phone defect, but rather a user defect (running apps and widgets that drains the battery).
i wanted to get a nokia e55 (not for middle east) or e52 earlier (about 10 months ago) go check in the forum how many problems were reported then (that is why i did not buy either then)
i waited for e72, but when i held it in my hand at the store, i was not impressed, and all the units i saw here in cairo were made by nokia
then i followed the wave here, and it is what i got. I'm totally satisfied with it
it is far more stable than nokia,
excellant build quality
has all the features i ever wanted
on top of all that, it comes at an afordable price!
i suggest that you read many hands on reviews by wave users here,
you won't regret getting a wave.

"jst one game"?????????r i mad??i m have nfs shift, asphault 5 hd,bruce lee,kroll and many more.the names i have mrntioned here r having very good graphix quality.n all games r free.n sound quality is crystal clear.n i had nokia b4.nd it also did nt hv smilies.n the cam quality is great but u hv to adjst d settings according to ur ambience.

hey guys, i did not buy this phone yet but i have planned to and i usually check this opinions page and to be honest im not happy with what people write here :S almost everyone had problems with battery or another stuff so im confused right now. can anyone of u give me a good advice. thx in advance

[deleted post]Me too is looking for a bumper. The scratch-resistant is the screen not the body. I dropped my phone in the bathroom floor and scratched the left side of my phone. :-(

I have purchased this phone & it was a Big Mistake. the camera quality sucks... the music quality is 50% of wat sony offers. No smilies :-(.. jus one game dat too motion... one good thing AOLED the only USP...
SAMSUNG MONTE has more applications then this one..

Egyptian on Da Wave, 02 Sep 2010try carrefour 2360 L.E.I've been advised by several branches of Mobile Shop that there is a recall on Sumsung Wave due to some defects in the exterior body. Though, it is a very nice device concerning the internal CPU, system, interface and etc... You'll never find a better touch screen. But please take care from the so called issues.

Hey guys I've done some registry editing for Kies and I got an upgrade message to XXJF8, now 'XX' is an European firmware code and I am from India. So if I upgrade to 'XXJF8' will I get 'DDJH1'? I mean is it possible to get 'DD', Indian code if I already upgrade to 'XX'.

i have had this phone for 2 months now and not had any problems with the battery,although it heats up after its been in use for a long time the battery life is fine and dependant on how much you use the phone. the more you use it the more you have to charge it..simple really!.

Satish, 30 Aug 2010I am thinking to buy this, I am loving the features.... but... moreyes apps are easy to get and most of which are free,i have downloaded many and not had any problems.had this phone for 5 weeks and its really good.hope this helps.

wave"s battery performance is not gud.i will go to samsung cuztomer care 2mrrw to replace the battery.previously i was using nokia.nd gps nd push email n im clients were perfectly working.but in this phone this thingz r not working as well as nokia.neways d camera quality n graphix quality of games n sound quality is very nice.i m telling wat i feel.plz dnt think m a fan of ne brand.m only a person who loves new technology.that is why i have choosen wave.nd 1 more thing..the homesceens r only customizable with some few widgets.we cant put a radio or a game shortcut on the homescreen.but in symbian we can put nething on the homescreen as shortcuts..this lil thingz r lacking.but overall it is a phone wid great multimedia performance.i never watchd full movies on nokia.but i watchd avatAr on this phone.n the screen n sound quality was so amaizing that i couldn"t resist myself from watching the full movie.
neways i want to know that what is the latest fm version in india?m having ddjf2.
