    Yes. I do think you need to synchronize contacts. Another person had this problem and we came to the same conclusion. Though, I still don't know whether his has been solved or not.

      It may be because I have not added / linked any facebook / linked friends.

      Any ideas why I donot see those 4 tabs.

      I donot recall them being there even in JF1 firmware, atleast on my phone.

          charan123, 27 Aug 2010hi . can u pls tell me how to run the navigation software o... morejust before connecting u r device to computer just go out open navigation and stand under clear clouds for 5minutes to let ur position defined.after that u connet u r device to computr in mass storage mode and start route 66,and it picks u r device automatically and shows the available maps for u,download them and tranfer to mass memory.

            I mean I click on Contacts button, I get a contact name on top, with a picture of the contact on the left top most corner. Below that are the phone numbers, below that 2 icons, one for message and one for a video call. Below that Other, where I have groups.

            Can you please guide me on this. I will search on Youtube too

                Have you heard of Teamviewer ? Install that and then tell me. Tc.

                      @Indian Waver : He is referring when you click on a contact and you get 4 tabs. One of them is history.

                              Try this:

                              1. Go to "Settings"
                              2. Then "Date and time"
                              3. Then unselect "Automatic time update"

                              Now, try sending an SMS and make a call; and see if the 2 time logs matches.

I just plugged the phone in 'USB Debugging' mode, the Kies kept showing 'Connecting to device', I didn't care, the firmware started downloading then it upgraded easily. No disconnection in between. I was on XP SP3. May be you could try this method.
                                  Are you using latest Kies version? And when you installed it which country did you select? India or some thing else. I am still not getting the upgrade pop up in Kies. So boring.

                                    I can understand that you saw the call log to check the time you made a call.

                                    Where else did you check the history of the calls, which showed you a different time. I checked the 'Contacts" but it didnothave any hstory feature. Or did I miss it.
