New waver, 27 Aug 2010Which mode have you used to connect your phone to your comp... morehi... yup i have been using the mass storage mode... i know i m not far away frm getting the maps... just a couple of mouse clicks here and there.. but still not getting the things done in the right way

This is all i can suggest,,when you set it to your time zone are you pressing SET to actually tell software..their is also a DST setting that may help being trying being swithched on or off..Try to find other wave users in your area or take it to a local shop it may be your carrier at fault ..Are you using a proxy server cause that will upset delivery times and is not exactly legal..

The phone is... moreyou should have no trouble getting the settings if canada supports wave ,i live in uk but DO NOT use your Ireland sim card it will mean your roaming and will cost you all of your savings to put it politley to use the Ireland sim in Canada ..As its sim free i would suppose you just buy a Canadian sim card when you get their and pop it in and give everyone your new number....

Hi All,
I m facing a strange probs...
I m from India... and have set time as GMT +5:30
When i check my call logs it shows me the correct time.
i.e. if i call on 8:30....its shows me time in call log as 8:30.
But wen i got in contacts as see the history..
it shows 3:30, means it showing me time as in GMT +0
Does anybody having the same experience...
I have already upgraded my firmware....
Hope to get a response this time...!!

whats the latest price ?
my friend said that it costs around 16500 in delhi..
but i enquired at mobile store in bhubaneswar and they quoted a price of 17900..
in ebay the lowest i cud find is 17450 with free shipping..

Anonymous, 27 Aug 2010divx registration really sucks in wave... why cant they jus... morehave u played the downloaded video on u r device after u complete ur registration.unless u play the video u will not get unlock u r divxplayer.I don't think registration sucks as it is very easy and so simple to do it.

Please let... morehi saurav, the prblm in my case is that the downloading of the firmware finishes off well but when the upgrade starts, it gives an error and says thta u need to recover the firmware now. but evn teh recovery doesn't work after which i remove the battery nad restart.

divx registration really sucks in wave... why cant they just activate it and sell dumb idiots...
somehow registered it but it doest play bsnl tv.. when tried it still says " you are not authorised to play this divx protected video"
i have activated the divx player and now what else should i do to play the Online bsnl TV..
some one help please

I have the samsung wave on Vodafone (Ireland). The phone is sim free but set up for Vodafone, eg. internet and mms settings. I am going to Canada for a year and want to use the phone over there. Does anyone know if I will be able to download the net and mms settings for the Canadian network I use? Thanks!
