brynn, 27 Aug 2010Congrats on reaching 50,000 votes Samsung Wave..I can't fathom how an unrelease phone like Nokia N8 has got 85,000 + votes. I thought one was supposed to vote post using the device for atleast a few days, not just on hearsay.
But as New waver (I think) pointed out most of the 50,000 votes for Wave are from users who have used it. While in case of N 8, it is from people based on speculation.

While most of the people on this forum have not reported issues with JH1, some have.
You can upgrade with the memory card in the phone, no data on it will get deleted, nor will any data on the Phone memory or SIM card.
But as an user Brynn advised quite a few posts back, don't try fixing it if it ain't broke.
So it is your choice whether you want to upgrade or not.

binks, 27 Aug 2010when i download apps through Kies it saves to the phone mem... morego to settings,applications,installation settings,check as memory card and set thats it mate:)

when i download apps through Kies it saves to the phone memory, is there anyway i can download through kies apps and save it to the memory card i have all the settings to memory card already.
i cant get samsung apps through wi-fi, not in my area yet?
any suggestions ?????????????????????????

Hey guys, today when i attached my phone with kies, i got Firmware upgrade option.. it says my current ver. is DDJE7 & latest version will be DDJH1, so should i upgrade it?? what steps do i have to follow?? should i remove MMC too?? Please help!!!

i cant choose between it and nokia x6 , i know it has much better screen and touch and but ppl told me nokia has better battery and applications and nokia much cheaper anyways so any recommendations ?

I have been following your comments for over a month (i got my handset 3 weeks ago)
i really wana ask, what is all the fuss about the software upgrade??
mine came with jf4, i'm staying on that until kies detecting that another version is available for my country!
why try to upgrade and then complain about the newer software versions!

i upgraded miii firmware f2 to jh1, i noticed the only change in this upgrde is in samsung application, those who r seeing updates in samsung application cn install updates from jh1
