I have the latest Kies and copied the file to show the Samsung Apps store, but now here's my problem:
when I connect the phone:
1. Kies says:
- This version of the device can not be updated.
- Current Firmwere Version: S8500MUGJF5/S8500MBMCJF5 (BMC)
2. Kies says:
- This device is not supported by Samsung Apps
The result is I can not upload the applications that I've downloaded from the net (with Kies) to the phone :( The "Install" button under each app stays inactive in Kies ...
how can I load up the apps I've downloaded? I'm in US and the store here closed down, so I'm using Kies to get the apps from other countries store (UK). I got the app, but I cant load it in the phone.
- some help would be gladly appreciated at this point. Thanks.

AnonD-22025, 04 Oct 2011i m already using a 2 gb card and all my apps are installed... moreyes it will work in bada 1.2. i have 8gb onboard all my apps were stored in my memory card and it works properly.

Press Ctrl + A (that way, system files will also be included), Ctrl + C (to copy), then go to the 16gb card window, then Ctrl + P (to paste).

my phone does not want to download movies or songs that is more than 2MB...what do I do? I could download before now it tells me UNSUPPORTED CONTENT???????

Anonymous, 03 Oct 2011i have screen burn in notification area it is normal or not??? Same thing happened to mine. It's barely visible but it's there particularly when viewing images with lighter shades.
I already emailed Samsung, and their reply was for me to bring my phone to the nearest service center. :sigh:

any news from samsung??? when is release date for BADA 2.0 ... still waiting from a long time... any way best phone I ever had. Good battery life and now with all that free app from samsungapps is like i had a new phone.

Just got my hands on this bad ass and it's definitely a GREAT phone! AMOLED is awesome, texting on the touch screen is actually easier than I expected (very responsive! I'm impressed.) OS is fast. Camera is superb. Tons of applications available.
Overall a phone to have imo. 2 thumbs up Samsung! U never disappoint me :)

samsung apps is not working in my kies. Once i open kies, and choose samsung apps, there is a prompt that I need to upgrade to a new version of samsung apps. but when i click upgrade, nothing happens. Please help. i cant use samsung apps and download new apps.
i am using Kies_2.0.2.11071_128.

There is one big, big problem with this phone. It never hangs, never reboots itself, no errors, other than browser. Reason being; we were used to thrill of hang problems, errors, frustration, anger. Now we miss all the troubleshooting, reading, DIY repairs. WE MISS THAT THRILL.. thats the problem.. why update a thing when there is no need of updating??
