[deleted post]Iphone3Gs does not have Super amoled. it does not have the faster processor. it does not support multitasking. So if you are listening to music and want to check your email, or surf the web, then you'd have to stop the music and then proceed.
Wave is less than half the price of Iphone 3Gs and does alot more. it beats Iphone even on the music quality front.
But yes. If apps is the only reason you are buying a phone, then Iphone would be a better choice as there are not many apps available for Samsung wave as of now. They are coming, but it will be a long while before Samsung app store gets close to the apple appstore.

[deleted post]If those three are u r priorities than go for samsung wave.Because specs of wave are better than the 3gs.Still wave comes for a friendly price where 3gs is very costly.

Wave noob, 20 Aug 2010does any1 know how to see network and area information from... moreYou can get it activated by going to Messages-Settings-Broadcast messages- Activation. I have it checked and I can show the area info sometimes in Network info widget but its not staying. If you restart the device it will be back but then again after sometime it will disappear. I would also like to know how to get it stable like SE?

am using jet like 6 months ago which is fast and it makes no problem for me...after i bought xperia x2 which is really slow and sluggish even i dnt use tht much...am lookin to buy wave now...will it response more fast than samsung jet or atleast equal to jet with using more applications in wave...

hi this is a very gud fone i bought it just yesterday and its features are awesom.the 1 Ghz processor give you a speed to do every thing smoothly. all features are good msg phone call every thing that i a supposed that a good phone have it.

With my kind of usage, or what i used with my N85, the phone should remain to atleast 75-80% for whole day. The usage i mentioned before was much more with my N85 but still it always remained to full for the whole day & then slowly discharged the other day, i was very happy with its battery performance.

When i recorded video with only flash, in the dark, i noticed prominent level of noise.
When i recorded video in low light, (like 1 CFL light) the noise was quite visible.
Is this normal??

guys i bought wave 3 days back and my battery back up is around four hours watching a movie with half brightness.can u people suggest me how to improve my battery life?or do i need to change my battery.wat about all of urs.

I am the only person who does not use ebay but will give someone the money and they get me the thing i want,,i have had 2 credit card warnings this year and had to change cards and rip old ones up....I am ultra carefull with everything i do in reguards to security but they suspect my data has fallen into a fraudsters hands but was low risk ,,the only info given by their team was some persons could know my fron numbers on cards?? Any how thats why i dont ebay OR wont ebay till i am fully savvy with how it all works..

Hi what is your firmware version ?? Please check whether there is any new firmware update available for your region. Please do update it through KIES and not from other source.
If you are not sure, please bring your unit to samsung service center and ask them for firmware update.
For temporary wise, I advise you to shutdown all the running widget. Means that don't use any widget until you get your firmware updated.

Hi, there is no such phone that can play .flv by default in current market.
About the transfer speed that you complaint. I been using a lot of high end smartphone and I can tell you that WAVE transfer speed is very fast whether copy from phone to PC / PC to phone / memory card.
I can play any of the MP3, WMA music file on my WAVE.
I also tried on avi, mp4, wmv, mkv video file without any problem. And it plays very smoothly.
