I think there should be someway to switch charging off while connecting the mobile through PC, as then also we can opt for full discharge-charging method as at anytime we need to connect the cell to PC & it starts charging, after some transfering of files we again need to take it off thus it affects the charging method.
Also why everytime i set wallpaper/ringtone from memory card & after setting it the same gets copied to Phone, i mean there remains 2copies after setting, one with MMC & another with Phone, why is that, why cant it take the files directly from MMC. From the very 1st day i have this feeling that MMC is not well synced or connected to phone, even we cant transfer the contacts directly from MMC to phone & now again this is case with setting Wallpaper/Ringtone which again proves that it cant take from MMC directly. To me its a very big flaw of Bada OS, it isnt mature enough.

I also faced another problem, the MEMORY changes from MEMORY CARD to PHONE automatically sometimes... such as memory location for the FM radio, etc.
is my OS malfunctioning??

Hi friends,
A problem has started to occur... i was playing some songs in my samsung wave. The equalizer was at ROCK settings and effect was SOUND CLARITY. When I started the song, it appeared to sound dull. Then i went to the setting, and found these options selected. I tried to reselect the same options, and then the sound changed to the ROCK equalizer.
Why did i have to reselect the equalizer??

I bought samsung wave for my main phone and another samsung champ for my secondary phone. No problems . good user experience. and UI are almost the same. these phones are excellent

Today my charging completed at around 9Am & the battery left is 61% by 1pm which includes 1hr+little more of only gaming, does playing games consumes so much of battery, actually NFS shift is so involving that i cant resist playing it, also many times i plan to play the games while charging but the phone gets too hot in just 30min to use it.
I think i will have to use once without playing any games.

See, suppose you are travelling. Now when you enter another city, the radio frequencies are different. In a normal scenario, you'd have to manually tune to those frequencies (unsuccessfully very often). The RDS system automatically searches these alternative frequencies for your saved stations and tunes itself accordingly.

Iphone is terribly terribly dependent on Itunes. You just get so bloody frustated. There is no way around it and it takes ages to bloody download it and sync it if you are somewhere else than your home.
I for one need the liberty to hook my phone in any computer and transfer files. Or at least transfer it via bluetooth from some1 else's phone/computer.

say for example you had the 3GS, and no other spare phone at hand. Then you have to go to another country where they do have computers, but doesn't have iTunes and not even familiar with it. But you really have something important you would want to do...
but then again you can't because the iPhone is a complete slave of the software whereas Samsung wave doesn't need a dedicated application or software just to manage files or what have you...

Blue, 21 Aug 2010@Brynn, Well i know thats a low usage & thats what worr... moreWell my friend, N85 was not the same type of phone. What I mean is that now you have a "Full Touch bar" phone in your hands where N85 was controlled by physical buttons.
The phones with keypads and buttons always have better battery lives when compared to Full touch bar phones.
Proper conditioning should improve your battery life though. :)
