First, there is nothing wrong with the read/write speeds when transferring date to either to, or from phone. Can you specify how many files were you transferring and what was the size ??
Actually, I find the transfer speeds to be very good. :)
Second, I converted my mp3 into wma for just to check whether there is any problem and None ! They play as good as mp3. Btw, mp3 are alot better sounding generally as it uses perceptual audio coding.
And mate, Flv is a protected format. Have you come across ANY cellphone that plays it ?

The size of wallpaper for wave is 1600x1200(if you have many home screens). For single screen you can use 400x800

Today I Purchased The Samsung Wave S8500. Befor Byuing it I was so exited. But now when the device hands on me, I think why should I baught these funny joke of samsung, there are major problems with the BADA OS some of them are
1. File Transfer between PC and Wave is too much slow
2. It Does not suppor FLV
3. I am unable to watch wma files got error message
and many more I share after a day or two day of use, but I am Unhappy with wave.

Hello all. Today i bought the S8500 wave, so i´m very happy.Please anyone tell me how to manage to charge the battery? Let the few charge it have till the end and charge fully?? Thabks

i m new in touchscreen mobile world. my question is can i laminate its screen? coz i used resistive laminated screen n it worked good enough. dont know anything about capacitive screens.

Just bought this Wave last July 2010 and I don't have any bad comments aside from no camera lens cover which its not a big deal for me, what I'm after is the performance, durability & well of course the looks. So far its the best smartphone I've ever had, (by the way its my first time to use Samsung mobile since I started using mobile way back 1998). I would say its very responsive, fast internet connection, it has a good quality sound, video recording is superb with HD quality, it got 5MP camera that produces best quality photos even outdoor or indoor (don't worry it has powerful neon flash). Additional Apps are downloadable from Samsung for free at this time.The display is very clear thanks for the super amoLED technology even under the sun you can still see the image. The best thing with this phone is it has scratchproof surface so don't need to put screen protector. And speaking of durability I might say this one is durable because of its aluminum body, slimmer & solid feel. For me this Wave is highly recommended & worth the price. Wavy good!!

Have you condit... moreI don't know about the conditioning of battery bought about 20days back,just played around it for first time and i charged fully and extra for half an hour for the first time.now i am able to get 24 and half hour of continous music through head phones on 3g.Just give it a try and check it u r self it should be the same withe u.

excellent phone, just got my KIES updated 1.5.1.10074.2 tried downloading 2 games, connected my Wave than install, piece of cake. all work great. got some nice wall paper too from Wave forum, i love one particular wallpaper, it just look FANTASTIC in my Wave. So happy with this device, worth every single penny.

Lala, 20 Aug 2010hi guys. i just got my wave yesterday. can someone please h... more@Lala, the best way to get an Apps from Samsung is thru WI-FI, look for some hotspot like in a shopping mall, coffee shops or food chain, usually its for free. But you can still have a connection from your network provider just ask them if you're allowed to connect thru packet data, but be aware they will charge you for every connections. Good day!
