[deleted post]Connect your phone to your PC/Laptop. Does it show your phone memory and card memory ??
Or better, go to main menu >> Settings >> Memory. It will show you your memory card details. If it is not being detected...Then try hooking up your card in your Pc/laptop and format it in FAT32 format.

guys..ive been trying my best earlier to transfer files to my samsung wave phone thru the kies software, but it's got error. external memory is not found when in fact the phone has an 8gb micro sd memory card. well i do know that it's a memory card supported by the phone but d transfer is not working. got any ideas or suggestions?il tray it again and do some other means to make it work..thanks.

Well I fixed the Samsung Apps update and installation failed problem on my Wave. I just restarted the device, turned Wi-fi on, clicked Samsung Apps, the Disclaimer came up, I accepted it, then after few seconds it said update available, clicked 'Confirm', it downloaded and then then Samsung Apps exited, in the Menu you will be able to see Samsung Apps 'Installing', like other apps it will install in about 20-30 seconds. That is it. Please tell me if that works. You just have to RESTART the device.

Never drop a smartphone, even if it survives the hit, it may become less stable and crash frequently for no reason after the fall. 'Tested' on nokia n95.

The built quality is extremely solid and sturdy. But you cant drop it alot since one side of the phone is mostly covered in glass.

One more thing I wanted to know is can we sync contacts , sms , calender and all ..........Please reply soon . Gonna take it 2day or 2morrow . Now there is not stock here they said sometimes it will come 2day.

Blue, 19 Aug 2010On Heavy usage my battery doesnt even stands for a day, yes... moreI had the same problem. Completely discharge and charge it a couple of times to reach maximum capacity. It will recalibrate the battery capacity meter as far as I know.
If you live in an area with poor reception, your phone will drain the battery faster. Put it in Flight Mode to turn off the GSM radio.

Should i wait for few weeks or should i take it to Samsung Service centre.

I have been struggling around to keep my wave running for more than 2 days on single charge but it can't, i visited Samsung service centre and they just scratched the battery contacts telling me that it might be due to the carbon on the contacts. Surprisingly, it worked for a day or two but then it again shows same battery draining problem. I think, I have to get it replaced as no other option seems working. My friend is having Wave too and his wave lasts for 3 days on heavy usage.

The E... moreWell to me Ebony Grey looks more like Brown rather than Purple & yes it looks more metallic, but still i like Metallic Black & anyways usually i chose black for mobiles since to me it looks fresh even after few years, except for Brown/copper shades used by Nokia which are just awesome.
Guys, does anybody know how to keep charging off while connecting the Wave to PC via Kies or Mass Storage mode?

Had a look at Ebony Gray and metallic black in shops. The Ebony gray almost looks purple in some lights which I'm not sure I like. Has anyone else noticed the purple look? The black did look nice but the gray is different and more metal looking.
