this phonee is great ! i cant seem to put it down. Theres only one thing thats bugging me, when i plug it into the computer and choose mass storage, it says its not available and tells me to close all applications. But i dont have any applications running? can someone help me please :(

WAVE plays all format. AVI format is the best. Very clear. Maybe the video itself is protected. Try to play some other video which is not protected by some licensing issue.
You can go to the properties of the video file to know whether its is protected or not. I have been downloading AVI files and the resolution is just superb

But since you are talking about battery, my brother has a nexus one and he loves it. But he also carries another phone with him cuz he says that the battery on nexus one is so bad that he cant use that as a phone.
And even though it doesn't speak for all the android devices. I am just advising you to check the battery on whatever phone you get. :)
I get a bit over 2 days on my wave on heavy usage.

ic3rock, 19 Aug 2010Might be your wifi or 3G network signal weak...I don't have 3g and my wi fi cant be weak coz its my home pcs ISP, almost 2 mbps. I connect my Wave through the Netgear router which is connected with my desktop pc.

i was looking forward to get wave but now i will settle on android (probably desire). my friend got wave. display is amazing and so the sound but battery backup is too low (just one and half on moderate use) and his phone freezed frequently when trying to close applications and sometimes memory full message appeared just so randomly (it appeared twice in half hour of use). user interface was average, otherwise phone is good but i can get better android at little more price.

And regarding the shortcuts, well i tried dragging to the bottom bar but its not happening, still will try getting it as you said.
And from where did you get that Keypad Widget?, i didnt find it on Appstore.

[deleted post]theres heaps of them on e-bay for about 5 euros.price depends on where you live i would imagine but here they cost 5 euros anyway.

han, 19 Aug 2010hi guys plz tell me about the sound?? loud or not?? if comp... moreIts sound is good, clear & is loud but dont expect like N73. I have used N73ME & i feel there is nothing to beat it, afterall it had 3speakers.
But still Wave's sound is good too although not comparable i guess.

i advice you everyone of here, next time if has a new phone released do not going to buy, just wait after 8months, because samsung not relesed a new firmware for a new releasd phone, you wait after 8months to 1year before relesed a new firmware to prevent or solve there problems of unit. samsung very poor by releasing a new firmware. nokia and sonyericsson every month has a new firmware to prevent laggy and other problem of unit.

Anonymous, 19 Aug 2010sometimes phone freezes,has anyone experience this?App crashes, yes, some apps sometimes, if a lot are opened all at once. But never experienced freezing so far, thank god. It would help to install apps on memory card instead of the phone memory (check your default memory settings and applications install settings). Also, upgrade your firmware to the latest version.
