I m planning 2 buy a cellphone...I m bored of usin Nokia..nd nw i m using Nokia n-82...can ne1 temme if the cam quality is at par wid N-82 coz i noe dat N-82 has one of the best cam wid Xenon flash....nd can ne1 temme if i can use Gtalk,YM in this phone or not...nd throw some light on JF1 nd JF3 as i m pretty confused...according 2 reviews dis phone s very good still i m skeptical of buying a Samsung phone....Plz temme abt da browser of this phone whether i vl b able 2 use sites like FB in full(with chat option)...Plz reply ASAP...coz i m eager 2 buy a new phone....nd my choices r flickering with n-97,X6,C6 nd blackberry 8900....!!!!

a guy at hotspot gave me info about the 8gb wave but didnt confirmed its availability in near future....he said it will cost 20k indian rupees....me waiting for this one....

that i dont know but it has wifi b/g/n !! more over when u lock in to wifi its so freakin fast like u tap on button n u r on the go n connected ! well
what do u need in a cell phone ??
music ?? its perfect
camera ?? it has hd video rec best as compared to 12 mp !! i hav outstanding sony cam its video rec and wave's is total same but waves is bit better !!
display ?? huh its the best display in the world !
it has tv out as well !
processor ?? it hasARM cortex a8 processor even nokia n8 can make 32 millon triangles but wave can make 89 millon triangles !! i hav tested benchmarks and its outta world!
looks? every 1 who has seen my wave was like this is amazin !! ppl who dont noe me they also ask which phone is this !!
flash for camers ?? dont see directly the flsh of this monster it will burn ur eyes !! my girlfriend slapped me after i made her see the flash frm close she was blind for 10 mins !!
EVERYTHING IS SO PERFECT ABOUT THIS PHONE , THAT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO COMPLIMENT ABOUT !

I followed the instruction and upgraded my firmware to JF8. Some websites say about flashing the Phone with Multiloader but I feel it’s safer to follow this instruction and upgrade it through KIES

One more query, when i checked the detailed specs of Wave on Samsung's website, why does it says N/A for WiFi in connectivity column.

bada os is very nice its very simple and there are some good features which r exclusive to wave well as such there are not much limitations but yeah some apps which are available for symbian n android i mean (some ) are not available for badA ! internet is outstanding over wifi , but nice on gsm connection ! more over i hav sony W995 and xperia x10 and n 86 there signal streangth is weak , w995 is good as compared but wave is simply amazing full signals !! and there are no features that i miss more over there are so many new new things in thi phone that i am fogetting all the old features !! WAVE = SIMPLY AWESOME !! but the perfect flash player for browser is missing !\its flash lite 3.1 ! its should be 4.0 ! more over movies sub titles are also there ! sound is amazing i mean externAL !! and of headphones is rocking better than walkman w995 !! screen is ahhhhhh no comments suberb ! u can increase the sound of phone to 100 db !! it will blow ur years !! battary is best i mean nothing can be better compared to wave's batt !! its my perception tc !

hey wavers, im form the UK. when i bought my Wave it didn't have asphalt5 pre-installed so today i checked the app store through my phone, i go to games and i see they added 2 more new games, and one of it was asphalt5 for download-and its free. they need more gamess

EG, 13 Aug 2010hey guys.. somehow i lost the "samsung apps" icon... moredid u loose the widget or menu button. in case of widget, just go to task manager and kill all widgets. later when u go to the home screen, u will be able to get it back. same thing happened with my mail widget a couple of weeks back.

Also how is Internet to use, i mean how is the browser & is it convinient. I use Wifi a lot so signal should be good too along with good browser. Also do you feel the absence of some features or is it just par with competition.

Blue, 13 Aug 2010Hi guys, i have zeroed in on Samsung Wave. But wave users, ... moreWell there are some negatives I found after being a month user.
1- There should be a Google Maps application for lite GPS use, coz in my country the Route 66 is not that flexible, at least not in my place. So more applications are needed undoubtedly.
2- The Multi tasking is good but not polished. There are some apps which closed automatically. So there is a lot of room for improvement.
3- The most boring thing is the Kies, it's really hard to connect the phone to your PC.
I can't say any more drawbacks beside these, maybe others could tell. Otherwise it is a beautiful device, a real value for money. Hope this helped.

yeah dude the batt gets hot ..! but i din notice any updation problem ! all is perfect so far i am realy happy with this phone i hav ran benchmarks on this phone the results are more than perfect ! moreover battary gets hot when u use phone while charging otherwise not ! and the main problem which i hate alot is dodgy flash support !! bt yeah the flash most of the times work ... rest is almost perfect !

Hi guys, i have zeroed in on Samsung Wave. But wave users, can someone tell me the drawbacks of this phone as i have read here itself that its battery gets hot while just in 30min of usage or Battery's life is less, or some problems with Bada's updation, etc.
Please point out true drawbacks, i know all the positives but also state the negatives which only a user can state.
Please help!!!

i dunno y peopole are sayin that JF2 was never in INDIA .. I stay in delhi and i hav FIRMWARE JF2 since 3 weeks ! and everything is good !!
