The availability of apps are different in each country (I envy UK, I'm willing to pay for that exDeus game).
Wifi is pretty good and easy to operate in Wave, supports WPS and is included in the upper control bar.
For your Telcos questions, I guess a waver from India should answer.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2010Does this one have animated wallpaper too?Wave doesn't have Live Wallpaper, but you can have animated backgrounds by using png and gif wallpapers. Try some of the wallpapers from this site:

(replace spaces with ".")
If you want scrollable wallpapers (background image spread across your multiple homescreens like the default ones), any image bigger than 1200x800 will be scrollable in the wave homescreens. Just google "HD wallpaper" and download images from the net to your heart's content.

Help me out dis is the second time m askin thi... moreInstall the device drivers from your CD (just pop it in your PC and follow the instructions and options), but don't install the Kies program from there.
Download the latest Kies version from the Samsung website instead (Google "Samsung" + your country, navigate to the site, choose Samsung Wave or S8500, go to Support section and look for software downloads, you should be able to find "Samsung Kies, PC Sync" there, click on the "download" icon/button).
Install Kies using the downloaded installer. After that's the time you can now connect the phone via usb in Samsung Kies mode.

I guess DirectX and netframework is available on the CD provided so plz guide me now...
do i need to remain connected to net if i am installing Kies through CD i received with mobile???
Plz guide me through the installation of Kies using the CD i received plzzz..
Do i need to connect mobile through the USB first n den run the 1st CD or first complete the both CD's n den connect the mobile??

ak, 10 Aug 2010can some one plz.....tell me the performance of this phone?... moreAll three are crazy fones. And all three work on different platforms. E72 is Symbian based, Wildfire Android based and Wave is Bada based.
Having used all 3, i would rather make it even more difficult to decide by saying all 3 phones ROCK!!!!
If I were to give a rating.... :
E72 : 90
Wave : 95
Wildfire : 94
People wud prefer to go for Android as there are many applications available at the moment...but boy Bada is the future!!! The Wave beast has all that you could Desire - application support is lacking dats coz the operating system is new....Go for WAVE!!!!!!!!

Which all video formats are supported by Wave l... moreWow, there's just too many video formats and codecs, one would be hard pressed to try them all out. Anyway, I've tried 720p videos that are mostly Blu-Ray rips in mkv, avi and mp4 containers and they all played through very smoothly. I guess they'd be mostly in xvid format. 720p divx videos also run smoothly. 720p mov trailers downloaded in iTunes don't seem to work, but now that I think about it, Im not sure if it has to do with DRM, I'll have to check.
In short, if you torrent vids, go for any of the usual 720p HD files with lots of seeders and it will surely play on the Wave (I haven't tried 1080p whole movies since the few I have don't even play smoothly on my mac mini nor on my tabletop HD media player). Oh, and make sure you don't download copyrighted movies. ;)

condition your batt first with up to 6-charging cycles(drain it completely, then charge to the fullest). You will then get great batt life experience. As GSMArena had reviewed, wave has one of the best batt life out there...
