Mak, 06 Sep 2011after upgrading kies to latest version I cant c any samsung... moredo the following steps on your pc..
1. run regedit
2. at HKEY_CURRENT_USER expand it then click SOFTWARE then it will expand again, click SAMSUNG and kies 2.0 a registry files will appear..
3. find the region then right click it then select modify and change it to UK(the default is US.

AnonD-20741, 04 Sep 2011Whts difference btwn S8500 & S8530??The main difference between Wave2 and wave is different screen - 3,7 SuperClear LCD(wave2) vs 3.3 SuperAmoled(wave) and slightly improved camera in wave2.
Im using Wave and i have to say: nothing can beat SuperAmoled screen :)

Geoffrey, 18 Aug 2011I took my s8500 phone for os upgrade at Samsung service ce... moreswype needs to be activated in the keyboard setting, you may also see your FW version in 'about phone' in settings. for your info, swype can only be used in sms/memo/diary etc. not in browser

Wave I gets bada 1.2(from Kies) almost 10 months after the release of Wave II, so i think wave 1 & 2 will get bada 2.0 also about 10 months from the release date of Wave III, Wave M & Wave Y which is expected to be on DEC 2011...this also depends on region/countries...till then happy waiting

samsung can u please release the bada 2 i will be happy. it is not important if there is no major changes or big update changes. the important is there are new firmware for our original and first bada mobile which is wave s8500.just all i want is the bada 2 firmware and if u demand so much for bada just go for android developing a new os is taking so much time so dont expect for such a baby to walk it needs time just wait for it and see for it. hope it will release soon

I've been facing issues with the camera at all times.
Whenever i try clicking pictures it just keeps focusing on the object for a while and then just keeps refocusing thereafter. Any suggestions on what can be done here guys !!!! please lemme know.

guys i am having problem with the flash of my wave, do you think master resetting the phone will fix it? if it would fix the problem, how to do a master reset?

Recently I've upgrded the phone to Bada 1.2 after that the camera just keeps on focusing and refocussing for a few seconds and then nothing happens ! What's wrong ?
Would my installed applications work if I master reset the phone or should I install them again?
