It has good hardware specs, but will never buy a BADA phone again. I have been waiting for version 2.0 and decided never to keep my hopes high on firmware updates.
Next phone - Xperia Arc or Optimus Black

So... is Bada 2.0 available or not.
I live in Sweden, and no upgrade in Kies as of yet.
Tried it right now.
Is it due in any day, or will it take a month..?
Great phone, but after a year I´m now considering SE Ray and a little bit of Android. Would like to give this update a chance fist though.

s8500 fail to update bada 2.0 so better is sell this bullshit!!!!!!!! and buy andriod os mobile .

I knew bada 2.0 won't release simply ...there will be an event for that but minimum I was hoping for some announcement but sad.....I want bada 2.0 soon samsung please ......

Give Audioshell a shot. Just do the mp3 tag editing on your pc/laptop.

Hi can any one help me by answering my question, Is it possible to upgrade my samsung wave 8500 1.0 to 2.0. I dont have warranty for this mobile and I bought this in middle east. Now i am in italy .. can i upgrade from here?

after one year of using this phone,i realized that there is no chance for bada,i will wait one month just to try the official bada 2.0 "if released" and then i will sell my phone.
my advice for anyone who wants a lot of free apps and a good phone go to iphone "not in my case" or any android gingerbread phone built by sonyericsson or samsung.
i don't advice windows phones.
for nokia its new OS meego looks very promising but it will take a while before a good app store becomes ready, and although symbian still stuck in low resolution screen but it's improved a lot in just few months unlike bada's very very slow progress.
ps. my ex nickname "phones fan"if any remember ;)

the same thing happend for me each time on Win7 both 32 and 64 bit.. so i tried on my friend's laptop running Win Xp Sp3 and now successfully upgraded with no errors..no worries, no prob with ur phone r kies..
now i hav installed Win 7 Sp1 (Build 7601) on my system, n i dont know how it works, i hav not tried the upgrade process as i hav already upgraded..so try upgrading in Win Xp, it works..
