OK, after updated to JF3 and I've conducted some test on my unit.
JF3 solved the issue prior to JF1:
1. Alarm clock reactivation issue after more than 24 hours.
2. Privacy Lock on "My Files" issue after installing apps on memory card.
3. Phone restart after Messages scheduling scheduled on less than 2 minutes. (on some phone)
4. Better image quality.
5. Better memory and resource management. (e.g. faster memory release than JF1). You will know after you play "Need for Speed" before upgrade and after upgrade. OR you can monitor your CPU usage after exit the game.(how much time it takes for restoring the CPU usage back to normal)
Lastly, JF3 provide better battery life, responsiveness and overall performance has been improved.
The above are the findings after updating firmware from JF1.

Guys. please help. Im here in the philippines and im having a problem about the sim card input. wave rejects my simcard after 4 days of use. when i power on my wave it displays a messege of S.O.S calls. othe r sim cards works fine.
ive paid my monthly bill on time and my network told me that theres nothing wrong with the sim

I know alot of people have configured gmail v... moreHi regarding your problem, that depend on how you set the "PUSH Sync" work on non peak period. Default it will switch to manual mode after peak period.
You can set it under "Menu" > "My Account".
Hope this will solve your problem.

[deleted post]I do find that GSMArena chooses the postings rather arbitrarily.
Anyway, my problem is that I have upgraded from JE7 to JG2 & discovered that I have lost the audio portion of the Dictionary.com downloaded from its official applications store. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling several times, but to no avail. Any advice? TIA

Hi all, I am seriously considering purchasing this phone within the next few weeks or wait until the Samsung Beam is released. I am not interested in the Samsung Galaxy as it has no camara flash. Anyway the Wave has a great battery, super fast 1GHZ processor, decent camara with a flash for night time etc. However can I watch youtube videos without installing software? Where can I get free and/or a great selection of Bada applications (esp games)? Does the battery drain quickly after game playing/internet surfing? Also Bada OS is limited to only this phone whereas Android (in other new Samsung phones) has a huge range of apps. If the Bada OS fails, then I have wasted my money. Please give me advice. Have any software updates happened for the Wave since its release and what is internet browsing like?

I wrote to Samsung about the following problem twice but never get a reply. I wonder if anyone can help me here.
Recently, I upgraded my FW from JE7 to JG2. Yes, now my battery can last 4 days when my phone is lightly used. However, I discovered that the audio part of my Dictionary.com downloaded from Samsung Applications Store has been gone for good. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling it several times but to no effect.
Is it a known fact that some applications can be incompatible with certain FW? Can anyone tell me how I can get back the audio part of the dictionary? TIA!

I have emailed Samsung twice as regarding the following question but they have not replied(>2 weeks)Pls help if you can.
Recently I upgraded my original JE7 FW with the most recent JG2 FW. Yes, now my battery lasts 4 days when lightly used.
However, I found that the audio part of my Dictionary.com downloaded from SS Applications Store gone. I uninstalled & redownloaded using both the phone & PC several times but still couldn't get back the audio part. Could anyone tell me how I could get it back? Or is it a fact of life that some applications are incompatible with some FWs?
