      You can actually use the menu and the unlock key to take a snapshot of the screen (just like using print screen)

        Mido, 08 Aug 2010Samsung S8500 made in china or koria? mine is made in Korea. after one month of usage, these are what ive xperienced. it freezed 2x already. perhaps due to its low battery. heavy usage of this phone makes d battery drain really fast. overall, this is a very beautiful phone.

          best phone ever, best display in the world, fast web browsing, fast ui, nice music and video player and very loud speaker, the 5mp camera takes amazing shots and hd videos, 1ghz cpu and very thin phone with full of features and full OS, price is very justified. sending from my wave

                mohmmed, 07 Aug 2010hi guys i,ve been using this phone fora month now and it ha... more1-when i try to play a youtube video via desktop option it dosent work and i only get the adobe flash logo (btw i enabled the flash in the internet settings)?
                -Maybe it's a newer vid? Flash10 is hit or miss with the Wave's Dolfin browser. Flash 9 and earlier should run smoothly. Test some other videos in youtube. Also try enabling all the items in Internet Preferences and not just the Run Flash option (except probably for the last option, "White on black"). Be sure to tap "Set" after you change anything, you might have hit "Cancel" inadvertently and not realize it...sometimes happens.

                2-how to use the navigation becacuse i always get the getting position message and i wait and wait but nothing happens?
                -You need to download at least a country map first. I had the same problem until I tried looking to sync Navigation in Kies and couldn't find that option. There's a program called "Route66 Sync", just google it then follow the step by step a posted a few posts back. I hope this does the trick for you.

                  I set-up my gmail through the Wave's mail "wizard" and connect through wifi only. It seems to be working fine on this end right now. I don't have Exchange set up on my pc, so I've no way to check on the problem you're encountering right now. Sorry, mate. =(

It's in the Google link widget that by default appears on the first standby screen. You have to enable location settings and either wifi or packet data for internet though, to be able to use it with GPS and A-GPS.

                            Khaled, 07 Aug 2010can u tell me what about the Navigation? is it for free? is... moreNavigation in Wave is free. For most regions, however, you'd need to download your country map before it can be really useful:
                            Download and install "Route66 Sync" program from the net to your pc;
                            Run Route66 and create a user account;
                            Connect Wave to your pc via USB in Mass Storage mode;
                            Route66 Sync program will show you available maps for your locale. Usually country maps and voice guides are free, but walk & drive would usually have a minimal charge.

                            Route66 in Wave may not be as visually appealing as Ovi maps (although some friends actually like the "retro" look or Route66), but I find it easier to use than my E52's Ovi. =)

                                  KARTHIK, 07 Aug 2010hey guys i just want to know whether bada can play BRRIP VI... moreYup, blu-ray ripped videos in avi, mkv formats, up to 720p resolution, plays smoothly on the wave. No need to reformat the big files you already play on your living room lcd. If your TV is DLNA capable, you can even stream the video from your phone and it plays in HD. =D

                                    Hey guys !

                                    I know alot of people have configured gmail via mail for exchange on their wave. I did too and it was working like a charm till the time I woke up today. I am getting no mails. Something has gone wrong but I did not change any of the settings.

                                    Is it working for you ? I'd be grateful if some1 checks and tell me.

                                    Thanks.

                                      Anonymous, 07 Aug 2010The x 6 is not comparable to wave because wave has a higher... moreX6 doesn't come with an Office viewer pre-installed at all!
                                      Picsel viewer in Wave doesn't edit, but as a viewer, I still find it responds much faster than the Quick Office or Adobe Reader LE programs available for Windows Mobile and Symbian devices. Then again, it just might be the 1ghz processor in Wave that's making it nicer. But whatever the case, picsel viewer in wave is still a better viewer than those available for X6 as far as I can tell. The only reader I find at par with picsel viewer in Wave is the one in iPhone/iPodTouch which also can't edit. How often would you edit Office documents on the phone anyway?
                                      Definitely go for Wave. Forget about the X6, there's really no comparison (but you can use the compare feature in GSMArena if you want to see for yourself).
                                      Hope this helps the person who asked about the 2 phones.
