Finally there is a "Compass" app available for WAVE at Samsung Apps Store.
Please also try out "ARDefender" as well. It was fun and creative game worth to play.

To avoid problems using Kies, install it using the latest version. Download the installer from the net. Don't use the cd that comes from the box. If you're using Windows 7, the better. I have no problem using Kies whatsoever.

The galaxy s is easily better than wave and the reason it was over priced like you said is because its not worth what they we're charging.

New Waver, 02 Aug 2010It would do you better if you watch/read some reviews. :) w... morei have read so many expert reviews of wave...
but we dont get to hear the minute day to day problems like the max sms limit tat could be sent at a given time, locking widgets in the screen so tat they dont move if u touch them by mistake, songs getting copied to ur ph memo from memo card when u use them as ringtone etc....
generally samsungs hardware is the best n now their software rocks too but they do have many small irritating setups....

I tried this code *#197328640# to increase my ear ... moreplease stop putting codes to this phone! anything other then what official samsung site recommendation will make your phone rouine for good, and you never get it back, all of these FW that people talking about should be avoided, you just need to update what samsung Kies gives you, and if that is not good they will keep updating till is right, so avoind this adventure of passing codes and FW to each other, this phone is just so perfect.

but now my earphone volume is gone...
Plz tell me how i can bring it back...
now there is no sound in my headphone..
Any code for restoring to factory settings????

Wayne, 02 Aug 2010my Samsung Wave has frozen 4 or 5 times since i bought it, ... moreyes its a firmware problem... i used to have it too n no problem since i upgraded the firmware

abraham, 02 Aug 2010Guys whenever im using the internet, and the wi-fi signal g... moreU have to go to Settings->Connectivity then deselect Use Packet Data.. Then it wont use 3G or gprs even if there's no wifi.. However u can't receive mms if u do this.. I usually just turn it off then turn it on if i wanna receive an mms.. Love that the Wave can do this..
