Hi folks,
I'm planning to buy this gorgeous gadget anytime soon.but apparently,there's an 8gb version that's gonna hit the stores in india next month.by 8gb do they mean the device will have 8gb internal memory or will it have an 8gb memory card bundled with the set?the 2gb version has a limited memory of 1gb for app installation.so i'll soon run outta memory if i install some 10 apps like nfs shift which occupies 100mb.do i have an option to install apps on memory card?or do u suggest me to wait for the 8gb version?will it offer more space for app installation?users pleasE confirm.thanks:)

I just successfully upgraded my firmware from JF2 to JF3. It took about 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the whole process. Here are the detailed steps:
1. I followed the instruction from this site http://andhraboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15
Here is the instruction from the site:
Go to the program where you install Samsung KIES.
- Open the folder.
Expected location (where I installed): program files/samsung/Kies
Real location: program files/common files/Samsung/DeviceService
- Search those files: _rapi.dll and _ceutil.dll
- Copy both files and drop it on your dekstop.
- Now make from _rapi.dll = rapi.dll
- Now make from _ceutil.dll = ceutil.dll
- So what you did is, you removed '' _ ''
- Now take both files and drop it in the folder of KIES.
To save time drop the files into ALL the following destinations ( you can try one folder at a time if you like, to find out actual folder )
program files/samsung/Kies
program files/samsung/Usb drivers
program files/common files/Samsung/DeviceService
2. I removed the memory card as well as the sim card of my wave.
3. I opened KIES and it automatically detected my wave after powering it on and connecting it to the USB port.
4. I upgraded the firmware by following the instructions in the firmware upgrade procedure with no other application is running in the PC.
5. Completed firmware upgrade after 1 hour 30 minutes.
I hope this will help to those planning to upgrade to their firmware.

actually u got more than u payed for, now stop complaining about that and this, u tell u frankly wave got almost all modern features at a very reasonable price, so pls stop compalining about YOUR wave? do u really have it? or u just trolling around here?

I though the one in Wave will have best camera module before purchasing. I was unaware of reviews and camera samples on this site so I couldn't compare. But now when I, almost all sony cybershot, nokia x6 and iphone 4 have better and balanced image processing and so the output than Wave. Compare honestly. Take images of bright objects. You will see dark part have too aggressive noise reduction and dark bright part suffers with noise and less saturation. All can be tuned fine by firmware updates. I hope they focus on this.

And am p... morei have bought this unit wave, its really good, i have iphone 3gs, the pixel of this wave is much more good than iphone 3gs, the life of battery is also longer than iphone, the camera is very good, and the speed of the processor already 1 ghz, very fast no need to think or hang. for me its worth it.
