Still have some jealousy users put their negative comments to confuse people about WAVE. Those who did that is simply they can't afford to lose. Especially iPhone fans. WAVE forum has reached over 300 pages and it's the most active.
My advice to all WAVE owner is please read through the user manual carefully and try out yourselves 1 by 1 and you will found out how powerful WAVE can do for you before you comment anything that WAVE cannot do or fault. Don't simply borrow from your friend and play it, and then comment it here. You won't found out it advantages if you don't own a WAVE.
My feedback on WAVE:
WAVE produces the BEST image quality and it 720p video recording is simply superb. You can even take it to replace your home camcorder.
Battery lifer is also superb. It last me 4 to 5 days with minimal of usage. It last at least 2 days for extensive usage.
Features wise, WAVE can do almost everything that iPhone and BlackBerry can do. Further more WAVE can even do what they can't.
For Gaming wise, WAVE has unmatched 3D performance and can even replace Sony PSP.
My WAVE came with 8GB memory card. I upgraded it to 16GB class 6 memory card. It works like charm. For those who want to get a new memory card for WAVE please get it at least class 4 or above, since it is the minimum recommended by Samsung. The higher class you get the higher speed you have.
Although some minor BUG findings are unavoidable. But this can be FIXED through firmware update OR through Bada OS major update end of this year.

just updated my kies to 1.5.1 10074.2 and now i cannot connect my wave to pc. Im using vista OS. samsung just cant handle there software. they are hardware expert but on software it belong to apple.sad

I've owned Wave for >1 month now. But everytime I connect to Kies, it seems to be a hit-or-miss event. If it doesn't connect, I simply try half an hour later.I won't do anything to fix the situation,but it will miraculously connect. Sometimes I have to connect a few times to get a successful connection. I'm on JG2. Hope that helps.

Battery life is is great, my phone will easily go two days with heavy usage, just remember to switch off wifi when not in use.

If you have any problem with battery usage. Plz update firmware. With newest firmware XXJG5 your S8500 will fixed problem battery and faster UI.

Mine is Made in China. I thought Samsung Waves are made in Korea. And the size of the camera sensor, it's too small for a 5 mp camera (comparing it with SE C901). It's more like the size of a 3.2 mp camera sensor.

The camera is far from being the best. :-) Too aggressive noise reduction. My Sony Ericsson C901 beats it hands down. My FW version is SDXF3. Is this the latest?

Hello and good day. im seeing a lot of negative comments here regarding Samsung wave is not what it is in actual, eg. low battery, slow, no multitasking.. etc
First of ive bought my wave week ago and my first impression was "WOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooowW" and days later i felt disappointed because of the problems mentioned above.
But it was my fault for not reading samsung wave's manual. when i started reading the manual i finally understood how to access such functions on blog reviews. there are some cool functions that are not mentioned on reviews like print screen and TV out. The more i read the more im falling in love with my wave again.
So to those who have negative comments or having problems with your wave i suggest read the manual first and try it hands on. Dont make comments here if your just borrowing your friends wave or just heard rumors like this and that.
Grasp the full capabilities of your samsung wave before selling it out due to disappointed feeling towards the phone.
if you decide to throw away your samsung wave, throw it at my direction so i can catch it ^^,. i could use another wave... its AWESOME
